Please gurus in the house I'm supposed to resume my program in September. I submitted my application on 20th of May did biometrics on 26th of May and have it uploaded on that day but I'm yet to hear from IRCC but people we submitted around the same time have been hearing from them. Do I need to be worried please

We are in the same situation, I submitted the same day and am yet to hear from them. Checking my portal one million times in a day. This is exactly one month and 4 days of submission.

Why are they taking so much time?

She has BSC from Nigeria. She is going for a two-year diploma which is about $40,000 CAD, leading to RPN

BSC is way too expensive, but leads to RN

Hello everyone. I just created this account. I was here before as Chinnychappy but couldn't remember the password so I just followed the thread as a guest. I just had to create this to encourage the likes of christyjiji that your ppr would come shortly. I got mine on 21st June and till now I haven't been able to express the feeling. I had deferred last year fall start to this year coz of funds plus I just had my baby in march and admission came out in April 2022. I was only able to submit my visa application in mid may and got ppr 21st June
Thank you @Osemigho, @just mellow and all others who responded to my questions last year before I deferred.
To everyone, you can do it yourself. I got a supervisor, admission and now ppr myself though lots of work was involved. Juggling full time work, caring for kids/family.
Submitted 15the May
Biometrics done on the 19th and updated on the 22nd
Medicals passed on the 23re
Eligibility 17th June but I feel it was going on all along coz I got a request letter for my updated LOA on the 19th June.
Correspondence/ppr on 21st.
All the best people

Congratulations. Please what can I do to rectify my issue, I applied on June 21 applied for biometrics appointment June 22 but error came that my IRCC number is already in use. I have tried severally even to reschedule or cancel the appointment. It keep asking for reference number that I never had. I even mail them to complain. It only returned automated message that I will be attended to in 2 working days. I don't know what to do next. My resumption due for September 1.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Sterling289128: 11:23am On Jun 24, 2023
Thank you for the explanation.

ShowYoung:

Are the two children eligible for free education?
Are the two children minor?
Are the two children intending to enroll in a post secondary institution?

My response will be based on your answers to the questions above: but generally, if I consider the parent to be either an international student, PR or worker, and the two children are intending to enroll in Grade 1 - 12, the C$ 19K is enough.

Tuition fee: $0. Free education till High School.
Living expenses $6,000 ($3,000/child/year)
Miscellaneous $3,000+.
Total : $9,000+.

Thanks you so much ShowYoung and I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge this on time.

It takes 21 to 45 days to process.

Transfer the money into an account in a commercial bank and back up the lump sum with the microfinance bank account statement and provide valid explanations to back up everything. Then you are good.

This is my thought and may be incorrect.

Even though IOM is meant to send your medicals after completion without giving you any medical sheet because it was based on IRCC request, tell them to give you a copy of the sheet, and send it via webform and email to IRCC.

I think the rejection letter you received was sent in error, if it were correct, your portal will would have been updated to refused by now.

Congratulations in advance.

Which school do you want to apply? This your agent wey don start to stress you from this early stage. Must be a long ride.
Some schools accept student copy, while some might accept student copy and mandate you to send original copy once you have enrolled as a student

Hey everyone! 🚨 Need your help and suggestions regarding my immigration process. Here's the situation: I received my medical request email from IRCC on June 2nd, and I went for my medicals with IOM on June 20th. IRCC mentioned that the medical results must arrive within 30 days from the email date, and I'm required to meet a deadline of July 2nd.

Now, I'm worried about getting my medical result on time. Any tips or advice on how to pressure IOM to ensure they send my result before the deadline? Should I send follow-up emails or consider visiting their office to expedite the process? I'm open to any suggestions or experiences you've had in similar situations. Please share your thoughts! 🙏
