CAS = 14th June 2023.
Application date = 16th June 2023
Biometrics = 21st June 2023
Transferred to DMC = 21st June 2023
No NSF mail
Collection mail - 27th June 2023

Good evening to us all. I generated payment instructions via convera early this morning and it stated that i have to make payment before friday June 30th. By the time i was able to go to the bank in the afternoon, i was informed that the cut off time for foreign bank transfers is 2pm.
As tomorrow and next tomorrow is public holidays, i would not be able to meet up before the 30th. What do i do? Can i fill again to generate another payment instruction

Is it possible that I'm having this delay because I stated that my children stay with my mum. I'm a single mum or because I declared that I'm separated .it's confusing, i submitted since last month and I didn't get any mail after the empty NSF.

Yes, as ur previous advice with you and duchess90, that I should top up my tuition fee. So I paid 650pounds that particular day. I mailed CAS admission officed about the top up fee paid, and immediately they updated my CAS. So that's the reason I met the financial requirements. Thank you guys, you are really amazing 👏....

duchess90, how true is this pls, that Scotland will still be taking dependants by January.

Hello, my wife’s CAS shield was flagged by the school she’s applying to cos they saw on her tb test that she’s pregnant. I want to know, is pregnancy an issue for some uni? And will that make dem deny her the CAS cos they’ve just put her CAS shield on pause for a while now. She has paid £6k deposit and even got a £4k scholarship from the school before this.
Are there schools that don’t have issues with pregnancy that she can still quickly apply to? Or schools that don’t check tb test before issuing CAS?

Please I need help with this, it’s urgent!!!

Currently, her employer isn't giving sponsorship but may give the beginning of 2024 as they had just finished a batch of sponsorship.

It's necessary you submit a copy of evidence of what you have been doing for the past ten years . This is where a reference letter and a copy of your employment letter or promotion letter suffice.

Is it possible for the MA to go ahead and process his visa this September due to pausity of funds, and then bring in dependants in say March 2024? Will the new policy affect dependants please?

Note that you have 3months from the time your visa is issued to be in the Uk.

Yes you can, the new policy will only affect intakes from January 2024. You are part of September 2023 intake,so you should be okay

Be prepared to explain using a cover letter why you couldn't travel before the expiration of your vignette

Once the HO enforces restrictions in bringing your dependants under a study visa it will apply to Universities in Scotland also

So in summary, you can't bring dependant if you are studying in Scotland from Jan 2024

It isn't wrong to state your current living situation

The NSF just indicates more time is needed to assess your application.

Until you get a mail requesting for more information about your application,you shouldn't be too worried
