Good afternoon house, I applied for a visitors visa together with my parents, in other to attend my sisters graduation next month. She sent the IV and everything from herself and also from her school. We did the biometrics on the 16th June, and my parents got their response on the 26th, but I’m yet to receive a response from TLS. I’ve checked my spam folder and everything. Is there a reason to be worried? I’m 19, so is that maybe a cause for concern?

Good day house, I will like to seek some advice regards applying for 6 months visit visa at this present time when Oanda rate is equal to black market and salary is at 500k, monthly expenses is 100k, intended to spend 750k on travel expenses, closing balance is 2.8M for 6 months, travel experience Kenya, Qatar & Kenya.

My fear is just the rate, I believe this wouldn’t av been a problem when the rate stood at 560.

You still earn 500 pounds per month with the rate, you are very good to go. See if you can Apply for the visa today and submit within the week since oanda rate is 964.

Increase budget for trip from that 750 to 900k. Say you will only spend 1 week.

Arrange casual leave letter from work with letter headed to be back the next day after your supposed flight comes back to naija

Nothing to worry about; just give them couple of days more.

Are your parents visas approved?

Don't worry. I'm sure you will get it. Sometimes, they attend to family applications seperately and send out the passports seperately.

We are expecting the good news.

You don’t need it. Most countries are not enforcing Covid restrictions anymore

Good morning everyone,
I'm applying for a visit to the UK for my brother graduation. I work in the US but live in Nigeria and my salaries is paid into my US account. My biometrics is for Wednesday. Is it okay if I submit just my US bank account statement or I have to include the one in Nigeria. But I have not had any recent transaction on the account. There is sufficient fund in the US account to cover my trip before I resume back to work. Also, under what category should I upload my brother graduation details since I'm self uploading.. Thank you

I just did a paid call now and they said decision has been made that I should expect 'Passport collection Mail today or tomorrow'. Since the agent could tell me what decision was made, I am so scared right now.

Good day everyone,I’m planning to apply for a uk tourist visa this month and a friend suggested that I apply for a Morocco sticker visa before applying for the uk visa cause it’s a virgin passport..I unfortunately lost my previous passports with several stamps of Dubai visa,an expired US visa which I used 3 times, expired South African visa .Will the uk visa officer see it as a desperate attempt to get the visa cause I don’t intend going to Morocco before I visit the Uk or should I apply for the Morocco visa n state it in my cover letter for uk that I will be going to Morocco after my holiday in the uk.
Note- I have limited funds.Pls advise

I don't have access to that mail oh. You can redact personal details or sensitive info on the documents and post them here.

Our General Overseer and mummy GO on the thread as well as myself will be more than happy to lend a helping hand if we can

Visitor Visa alert

Biometric 15 June
Collection notification: 27 June

It is for my mum - first time application, fully funded. The only document from her was her passport. No statement from her. I am a student (Sept last year)

Documents submitted

1. Employment letter
2. 4 months pay slip
3. BRP (mine and spouse)
4. Passports (appplicant's, mine and spouse's)
5. Statements (mine and spouse only)
6. Spouse's HMRC return (He is self-employed)
7. Tickets to and fro (a step of faith)
8. Tenancy agreement
9. Letter of Invitation
10. A letter from my school to confirm my status and intention to invite my mum

Application was done by my hubby. It was after he submitted it I came across this thread. Info here created more fear in my heart. But we kept our fingers crossed.
