I downloaded the NIMC App and tried to activate my account but no OTP is send to my mobile phone number.

I went to the NIMC state headquarter in the state I live and complained. They checked my email and phone number in their system and all are correct. They told me to keep on trying the App. I have been trying the App day and night and no OTP was send to activate my account.

I was asked to check if the plastic one is ready for collection. The web page (https://nimc.gov.ng/eid-card-issuance/) does not exist.

I tried to check the status of the plastic one if it is ready through their website - http://touch.nimc.gov.ng/ The page is no longer existing. Everything about NIMC is not working now.

I even make attempt to get driver's license, I was told it will take 60 days to be ready.

Please what will I do again. I don't want to loose this job. I have send messages to different emails in NIMC but no response. I have submitted the police clearance certificate containing my 10 fingerprints yesterday but they still insist I will not be assigned roles until national ID is provided and the documentation period deadline is Monday 10/07/2023

I suggest you use your international passport for the identification.
It's more acceptable by international firms.

Lol nobody will give you international passport within 4weeks I don't know about another country buh Nigeria you go pay bribe tire sef u might still be on it for 3month to 6 month na why I advice people to du renewal 6mnth ahead of the expiry...

And you've download the NiN app on PlayStore and that one too isn't sending OTP that one too can be used to get the digital version...

Nigerians, do not wait till you need your pertinent documents.

Have your passport, birth certificate, school results, NIN, BVN, any other alphabet paper in hand.

U can download Ur NIN in plastic form, it will be printed front and back just as normal ID. If u are in ABJ I can help u get it in 5 minutes 07044831517

If International Passport is acceptable. i can help you with express International Passport.

Sure now I did my renewal in another Africa country even though I was charged in dollars on dere Portal they didn't accept my Naira card....


So automatically you can do renewal anywhere....

Why didn't you just print your NIN slip when you went to their office?

Which one be say they check whether your phone number and email dey correct.

Tell them you want them to print it for you there.

Wrong. Not if you know the Passport officer or comptroller. Also I hear that in troubled regions it comes out fast too.

The only acceptable means of identification are Nat I'd, Intl Passport or driver's license.

An ID that can be verified is acceptable anywhere.

You be mumu o, print the plastic ID with the information now. There are cafes that print NIN plastic ID card with same information contained in the slip

Go to their national headquarters in Abuja it will be sorted out.Send me a mail.

Not with this there new Policy ask anyone who did his or her own recently if is something they get within a Month unless they've cancelled the policy....

If u hold like 200k, go to Lagos and do u international passport and get it same day. Even drivers license u can get it same day. Na Nigeria you dey, think like a Nigerian.

Stop deceiving people here . You can't get drivers licence same day . Currently you can't get your passport same day . In the past I may agree with you .

Why don't u do International Passport on express delivery??

There was this place in my area the bank directly me to 2 days ago when I had issues. I was able to print mine the 3 pages that covers the date of birth, address and photo passport with signature

this is how I got my own digital nin when I needed it, since my own nin is not revalidated so I can't access the nin portal. I collected my friends digital nin, went to Cyber cafe, edit it, remove the barcode, name and other details , and pasted my details on it ,printed it and it worked.

Just grease some palms in their office to help you FasTrack getting the plastic NIMC ID card. Within a week, your problem is solved.
