Let's look at the verses.

Eph 6:12 is only a single verse. U cannot understand the entire and true meaning of the verse without takinh note of the surrounding verses .

So let's look at Eph 6: from verse 10 to 14.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand....

Thanks again, but consider this, who wears an armour, helmet, and shield? Is it a bar tender or a teacher or a pepper seller or a civiliian or a soldier?

And in the same verse 17, "We have a Sword. What is a Sword used for?

Now, you see that Christians are Soldiers, and that we fight, (wrestle) but what shall happen to a soldier who is at war but he is not fighting?

How shall The Captain of the Host view such a Soldier? (Jeremiah 48:10 should warn you)

Surely, if you are not fighting or wrestling, then you are being beaten. And if you are being beateb, then you shall surely be pummeled to death.

Which is why you people take a lot of shit from people, even strangers only to go home to pour your great pain on your wife and children and the people under you thereby turning them atheists. Which is why many atheists are pastors children who say that their father."Christians" are wicked.

And now you are the one driving away your own family from Christ. And now if your family hates Christ, how then can your neighbours follow Christ?

And this is where every Christian knows many of The Secret Laws of The Law, which people miss and take for granted.

If i have any wickedness in me, The Lord will not hear me;

Thus, i do not do that which many "not Christians but claim Christians" do where they shout "die, die, die; die by fire" and all those things.

I do not go around seeking for my enemies to destroy, because i know The Law, "Proverbs 3:30 "Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm."

Therefore, i am in my lawfull place and i trespass not.

My guy you're going too far. Jesus Christ in his command to his disciples made it clear that a Christian must never think of killing a soul but to save it {Matthew 5:43-48} with that another question comes to mind:
What if we should die for being harmless in a world that's filled with arms and other destructive devices in the hands of our enemies?
Jesus answered:
"Don't fear those who kills the body but can't harm the soul but fear the one who can destroy both body and soul in the grave" Matthew 10:28

This is why most Christians in the first century died in the hands of their persecutors because they're ever ready to obey Jesus Christ than their own hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 compare to Proverbs 4:23

Today millions of baptized disciples of Christ (Jehovah's Witnesses) around the world are known for our skillful use of the SWORD which we always carry everywhere we go our greatest weapons is the SWORD of the spirit {Luke 22:36} which is God's word {Ephesians 6:17} because we're not warring against flesh and blood (bodies) which the world is using physical weapons to destroy {Ephesians 6:12 compare to Matthew 10:28} that's why in all the countries of the world you can't find a single JW who is a soldier because our faith has surpassed that of people who are still training to kill at war {Isaiah 2:4} all thanks to our Wonderful Counselor the Prince {Isaiah 9:6} teaching us to seek PEACE with all men! Romans 12:18

So even if a JW has nothing he/she must never lack a complete copy of the Bible the SWORD of the spirit! Luke 22:36

He doesn't want to agree with anyone on what Jesus commanded so he believes all groups are wrong that's why he is not fellowshiping anywhere {Hebrews 10:24-25} yet he claims he believe in Jesus who is the head of the church.
Please if he can't point to any group of people practicing what Jesus commanded (Christianity) in what way does he believe in Jesus who said in prayer to God:

"I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one". John 17:22

So if our friend can't figure out the group that has the same line of thought on what Jesus commanded, is he truly a friend of Christ? John 15:14

I didn't want to repeatedly quote all of your posts, however, you beautifully explained everything.

The "die, die, die" prayers, (which I learned about through this site), are what I've now come to know, alledgedly pertaining to the "spirit" working through the person. I thought it was towards the person. However, a large portion of Nigerian christians do not understand the problem of even stating death in that manner--to the spirit operating in the person. Saying that still evokes a wrong emotion in the one directing it towards another (even if one feels justified). Christ did not teach His followers to say that. He told us what to do...as stated in the scriptures that you pointed out.

I have some churches near my home here and I hear their prayer points. Many of it are actually directed towards physical human beings and not spirits. These are new generation Pentecostal churches o. No need to mention names.

Imagine prayers like;

"Anyone who said I would not prosper, fall down and die! Fall down and die! Fall down and die!"

How do we explain this in the body of Christ?

I don't even know what position to take on this issue. Sometimes I think I should forgive. Other times I think I shouldn't.

However, there is one fact that has remained incontrovertible for me. I have come to observe that those who have suffered me unjustifiably have issues that I think were linked to what transpired between us. I have also heard similar stories from friends too.

I don't even know what position to take on this issue. Sometimes I think I should forgive. Other times I think I shouldn't.

Just check the bible eg Esau, those guilty of the golden calf affair and on whose behalf Moses tried to intervene and save them but God told him to stay out of it, David nearly did not get forgiven, Samson, Solomon etc.

Forgive! But because you have experienced the below, ill give you a tip you should look out for which is, even though you are ready to forgive, it is not you who forgives, but Who is in you again?

Paul argued and his argument could not be rebutted hence why he won over a great number of people, including me. So come argue with me and give me sound arguments that i cannot counter, and it is that very moment that i will acknowledge the rightness and superiority of your counsel and follow suit.

I believe in arguments as it gives me a chance to weigh all the points so that you may not erronously mislead me, even though you did not intend to. So this is my way of doing due diligence, and it has perfectly guided all my life, such that i have no errors or mistakes or regrets.

So, if you think you are right, do argue with me and present your points let us all examine it together with The Bible as our Judge.

When the disciples preached people were saved and the others who didn't believe they did not come and argue to make the believe. The holy spirit is our only teacher it's best to ask him for guidance, I'll ask him you do so too.

Acts 17:16-18 shows Him being moved by The Spirit to dispute (argue) with the devout persons like you, daily.

It cannot be explained in the body of Christ, truly using the Word if truly seeking the whole truth.

I continue to pray that Christians (especially Nigerians who sincerely believe in this type of prayer), will go back to the Word, humbly and sincerely seek the Holy Spirit for true understanding.

It's that important.
