Viruses:

I can't tell you which option to go for, but personal loan in my opinion is the least.

Personal loan: they will give you the money to do what you want, you will use it to pay for the car and you will pay back at interest rate of about 20%.

The other two options (HP/PCP): they will pay for the car themselves and it will be delivered to you. You then pay back at interest rate of about 8%.

Okay thanks for the info

You need to ask yourself this questions......

- Do I really want a new car
- Would I still be pleased with my new car and still happily paying for it, when the nostalgic period is over
- How secure is my job
- Do I fully understand the difference between PCP & HP. If you haven't, get Google fired up........ πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

NB : A personal loan is still a much better way to buy a vehicle...... Shame you can't get a loan....... They really want to milk you..... 🀣😭

Thanks man but your comment is contradictory go what @Viruses said that personal loan has a higher interest than HP or PCP. Llyods bank said car finance of Β£7000 and above attracts a 5% interest monthly

He was very very very very wrong.............

Have you asked yourself why your bank would not offer you a bank loan, but are happy to offer you a PCP or HP.........

One of the reasons, a lien on the vehicle + make more money from you........ Unless you are buying directly from the manufacturer, with mouth watering APR rates..........

Once the vehicle is offered by a 3rd party, they must attempt to milk you........ πŸ€£πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

NB : You can't get a PCP deal @ £7000....... Nah Peugeot 404 you wan buy........ 😁

Viruses meant, personal loan is best....... But his keyboard got attacked by a virus...... 😁😝

Can't you buy a used car with a PCP or HP deal? Must it be a new car?

You can, but PCP in particular will only be available for newer cars. No dealer/bank wants to be stuck with a very old car at the end of your PCP term if you decide not to pay the lump sum to purchase it.

Honestly, I think you'd be best served doing a lot of googling on this issue because it's way too subjective for anyone to prod you one way or another. It all depends on if you want the car long-term, how much you're willing to pay, your mileage etc.

Thank you for your feedback. Please, if I want to go through accountant. Can you recommend any for me? Can you please check this https://www.1stformations.co.uk/ if they have the option there. I want to assume that the accountant's duty is to help calculate the tax and file it monthly or annually and also provide business address for me.?

I’ve had a look at the link and it looks like they register the company and also provide business address. The more expensive package includes PAYE and VAT registration but no mention of completing your books so you will still need an accountant for that bit. No need for VAT registration until you hit the Β£85,000 threshold although you can register voluntarily if you want to claim back VAT on purchases. Regarding PAYE, your accountant will be able work out the best combination of salary and dividend that will maximise your earnings and minimise your tax liability. You will also need to complete a self assessment tax return for yourself and company tax return yearly and pay any taxes due before the specific deadlines.

Sorry I’m not able to recommend an accountant for you as I’m based in Scotland but I would suggest finding one local to you. If you have friends that are already contracting/self employed, you can ask them. Referrals based on personal experience is usually the best way forward. Good luck.

I'm tired of these headless arguments .

If we are tired of UK, then leave to another country.

No one forced anybody to come here.

The day you took that visa, you signed up for any "shit".

We can cry and moan, it is their country.

If we had it better... ..... .... 1 pound won't be 995 naira today.

Find your dream and purpose and give it the best of chasing.

The deposits usually vary - some will ask for 3 months rental as deposit while other might ask for just 1 month. My understanding is the more deposit you put down, the lower your monthly repayment amount.

Or better still send each other dm and argue over email.

How do we learn if we don’t dissect and analyse issues ?

Quick question please. Who pays for IHS fee during visa sponsorship? Is it the company/sponsor or the individual? I understand that NHS and care jobs are exempted so I am enquiring about jobs in Tech, Finance, Banking etc

Seriously I was about to say the same thing. Personal loans are usually cheaper than PCP and Higher Purchase deals. Loan rates will vary between 2.5% to 7.5% depending on circumstances, credit history and eligibility.

Which bank please?

Like I said, it’s based on eligibility, credit history and personal circumstances. I get offers like that regularly from my banks. I bank with HSBC, Barclays, TSB, MBNA etc but I rarely take them up.
