It just dawned on me that there is no much noise about proofing home-ties in the UK student visa application communities.


Unlike countries like Canada and Australia where it’s a must and you have to even write a strong SOP.

1.You should submit CAC and Tax clearance

2. Ensure your business is active on CAC

3.You may include other additional documents if you have i.e company profile, invoice of sales
or services rendered , photographs etc (These are very optional,do not include anything that will complicate your application)

If you can satisfy 1&2 above then you are good to go

How long have you known your partner?

Anyone can get married and apply for their spouse on or before December 2023, the onus is on you to show enough evidence, expect alot of scrutiny on her application

2. Ensure your business is active on CAC

3.You may include other additional documents if you have i.e company profile, invoice of sales

I am not sure I can get a Tax Clearance because of the stage of the business, using a falsified documents is definitely not an option.

Will a Tax Identification Number letter suffice, please?

I am not sure of what stage of business you refer to

Falsifying a document will lead to a minimum 10year ban

Anyway, submit what you have, if the ECO is satisfied then fine, if not you wil get a not straightforward mail(NSF mail) requesting for additional documents

Tips:
For TB test, I had issues registering on their portal and making payment. If you encounter issues, just send them an email stating your passport details, where to and date you want. If you don’t get a reply within 3 working days, please go there and see the customer service showing them your email, they’ll fix you a time.



If you made a not so serious and non personal mistake when filling your visa application form, and you noticed after you have paid for ihs and visa fee, but before your biometrics, instead of canceling the application and restarting, which takes 4-6weeks to refund your money, you can write a cover letter and cross the mistake out on your application print out , then upload it as part of your documents submitted.


On getting dollars to pay for most £ or $ payment(ihs, visa fee, etc) I used a Wise account, to escape various local bank charges, stories and troubles I’ve experienced earlier , also stress of looking for Aboki to change naira, you can follow my link if you want to create one and get a bonus https://wise.com/invite/iw/ayooluwao8

Hello Duchess, dunno why you ignored all my previous queries but its fine.. now id like to ask a question similar to what you just addressed here. I graduated from uni in the year 2006. Served fatherland between 2008 and 2009. Registered a business name in 2013 as self employed( though its been inactive and no tax) but became one of the directors of a limited liability company registered since year 2014 , active on cac and we pay taxes. In order for a straight forward application do i stick only to the limited compan by submitting all the documents related to that while I ignore the business name which is inactive an d have no tax document to present for it?
I wanted to consider adding it alongside to cover up study gaps between 2013-2014. .thanks as i await your advise.

Please how long did it take you to get a decision? I submitted my application on 17 May, did my BM on 19 May, received NSF ON 23 May, received a request for additional documents explaining the study gap on 24 May. I sent a study gap letter on the 29th and was asked to attend an interview on the 2nd of June. Did my interview and 5 weeks later, still awaiting a decision. I have done 4 paid mails, 2 escalations and still waiting. This is the 8th week !

Wow, congrats to you and dependant....talking about exchange rate hike do you mean the subsequent rise of Naira after submitting application won't affect you while you are awaiting a decision
