Thanks for the insight, you mean I should set out different account in my name or her name, as how, I don't get this , my account statement is savings account in my name

Her passport carries my surnames, I submitted my passport page , she submitted her birth certificate too, all which attested we are siblings,I submitted my birth certificate too, she submitted her marriage certificate but her passport carries my surname, cos she has the passport before marriage

The 2nd and 3rd points are noted.

kingspecialist:

My opinion
1. I think you didn't establish the relationship accordingly since she is married (different surnames), this led to the insufficient funds. Address this issue by setting out a different account in your name and do a court affidavit as the sponsor, don't forget to add her birth certificate as proof of relationship. note, don't withdraw from the account, and ensure it can pay at least 80% of her tuition for the duration.
2. I think the sop didn't do justice to the study gap since 2017 followed by different discipline. Address this by clear presentation in your sop
3. family ties issue. let her sop be more explicit why she needs to return to Nigeria after her program.
Good luck

Thank you very much, once again.
I have been able to get it done successfully.

However, I have this problem now

Since yesterday evening, I have not been able to login to my IRCC account to continue my Study permit application and submit.
Below (in screenshot) is the response I have been getting. What's the solution to this?

Please note that I coded the email address for security reasons

Now restart the whole process.
First use the link below and compress the originally merged docs.
https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf

OR

https://avepdf.com/hyper-compress-pdf

This should reduce to say 9mb.
Then use the one below and compress to your size choice depending on the setting you use. Keep altering it till you get your desired size and quality.

Hello everyone,

I am currently attempting to book a flight for my cousins to Canada. I have checked the available flights on Wakanow, but there is a potential stopover in the US, does it require a US Visa? I read one time someone highlighted this. Can anyone provide more information on this issue?

Also, I am wondering if it is advisable to arrive in Canada on the same day as the school resumption. will this cause any issues at the point of entry? (This I am considering due to flight amount)

Thank you for your help and insights. I greatly appreciate it.

No. I have not seen one for masters.

For pre-master, I have also not seen one but you may inquire from different universities.

AVOID any flight that passes through US, you will need a transit visa.

When is the resumption date?

Good morning house,

I got my ppr last year but I had already deferred my admission to fall 2023 (no winter entry). My medicals was to expire in June so I went ahead and did an upfront medical and sent the e-medical file through web form

My issue now is that I haven’t gotten a response from IRCC and I’m leaving in August. My letter of introduction still has the old medical validity date. Will this be an issue or is there something I’m missing?

Good morning guys, I made my passport submission via DHL and it reached Lagos VAC on Monday 10th of July and I have not gotten any confirmation from Lagos VAC. I did a webchat with one of their representatives and he told me to wait for a confirmation from them just as i waited for confirmation from the courier service. So i want to ask, exactly how long does it take to get a confirmation from Lagos VAC for passport submission?

What is your yardstick for comparison?

Academically, MSc is higher and better than PGCert.

When it comes to post graduate study within a short period of time, some PGCerts take a shorter time to complete and can quickly launch you into labour force.

Check your POF against the duration of each program. Also, compare the cost. You will be able to choose between the two.
thanks a lot ,they both state two years, the only differences is that the PGCert is awarding two certificates for the course ( Human Resources, marketing and entrepreneurship), while the MSC is MBA

You are not the only one facing this delay, I suspect they have a lot to process from Lagos that is why the process is slow. Disturb them again by Monday.

If you can get in earlier that would be better. If you are stuck on that Sept 5th, please inform your school that you will be arriving on that date. Please also ensure you enroll for your classes immediately to avoid the class being full and you being displaced to another term.

I submitted my study permit application on 25/05 and the last update was when I completed my biometrics. It says background check in progress every time I check, nothing more.
What can I do? Can I go ahead and send a webform because it has passed the processing time?

kind of hard to agree with what you have put down here. For a masters program, you will need a 4 year degree cert. Nigerian HND is a two year program. so where will you get the remaining credit to make it a 4 year program. For a Masters program in Canada, HND is assessed independent of OND, not with OND. For each school, go to the country specific requirements and no where is HND listed as a qualifying cert. for applicants from Nigeria Dont confuse Nigeria's HND with those from other countries. In the eyes of Oyibo, Nigerian HND is treated as a two year post sec. certificate.

Your are entitled to your opinion. I have stated out what I know and am sure of. You don't have to agree.

You are the one confusing yourself and others with the bolded. If it weren't for the fact that this place is for the sake of information seeker, I will not engage in this argument.

I don't argue without evidence and data. What you need to do as an educated person is to ask for evidence, debunk the evidence through another evidence or agree that those universities in the UK, US, Australia etc that accept HND to master's program are not standard or don't know what they are doing.

You can even add that WES Canada do not know what they are doing for them to assess HND as equivalent of Canadian PostGrad Cert.

You can even say Canadian colleges and universities are not standard for accepting HND to at least Post Grad studies where no two year post secondary diploma is acceptable.

Evidence

1. HND is assessed to be equivalent to PostGrad Cert by WES Canada (You will ask for evidence)

2. People have secured admission to master's degree in Canada using HND (Distinction)-- You will ask for the evidence.

3. Someone has secured admission to a PhD program directly in the US. Please ask for evidence.

4. People have secured master's degree admission with HND in Nigeria, the UK, the US, Benin, Togo etc. Please work with data and ask for evidence.

5. HND is not regarded as a 2 year diploma-- I will show you evidence. HND is acceptable for PostGrad Diploma and PostGrad Cert admissions in Canada where no 2 year post secondary diploma is acceptable. I have provided you reason, I challenge you to ask for evidence.

I challenge you to come out and provide evidence and do not just issue words of mouth.

Word of mouth can lie, may be wrong, inconsistent and incorrect, but data can never lie.

Let us work with data.

Thanks already do that.

Please is it possible to pay my first semester tuition fees deadline twice? I mean November was my deadline written on my LOA to pay $9,155.68.

Can I pay it twice like first paying $5,000 and later pay $4,155.68 before the deadline?

I am worried about my application because the bank i used was part if those whose license was revoked by the CBN. The licence was revoked after my application
