I think it depends on where you are, plus that time frame you are in is called struggle period. Don’t be too hard on yourself, give it time and you’d be fine.

I have been saying this since 2019, whenever you are considering Germany have an Active plan B. I did a year of studies “in Nigeria” MSc at the University of Trier and still did not get an appointment till I relocated to the Uk. Getting my money out from the blocked account was not an easy feat. So guys reason am ooh.

Got a younger sister who has been in Germany since 2016 and still tells me how difficult it is to get a job without “fluent German”. She had study hard to B2 level even with an MSc to get a job. Some of you will say it’s easy Okay na lol.

One thing I found out is that the best thing is to pick your struggle and face it. Back and forth makes it worrisome. If you are in Germany, make it work. Most of these developed countries are similar, you’d have to work hard prayerfully to make it your promise land.

I got appointment today for category B I cancelled it immediately . I booked March 2022, I am in Canada now. If I had waited for germany I wouldn’t be in canada. My canada process took just 5months but I will choose Germany over Canada with my experience here in Canada .The cost of living here in canada is too high. Tuition is very high and my monthly earnings over 75percent goes to bills. My tuition cost 36500 dollars , If I have gone to Germany I won’t pay tuition and the cost of living will be low and I will earn same amount I earn here in canada or even more in Germany and will be able to save more money. Canada is tough and difficult to plan. Germany is a very good country and I wonder why those in Germany saying they still want to come to canada .Canada doesn’t have enough jobs and the little Jobs available here are very competitive even menial jobs . Germany has a lot of factories and manufacturing plants and more jobs than Canada. Most people won’t know what is going on here In canada until they come in. Asides language barrier I advice anyone in Germany to stay back in Germany.

I gave up after a year of paying semester dues with my salary. I was meant to start in 2020. Gave up 2021 and moved to the UK. Then I saw the mail to come for an interview in 2022 sad

Hey Guys,

What's the specification of scholarship you need to apply as category A.

I know the sites states "holding a scholarship financed from German public funds or European supported funds for a study or a PhD in Germany or"

But how much, does it have to be fully funded? How much is enough for the scholarship to be valid.

Any amount of scholarship is enough to qualify you for Category A (100€ and above). But it has to be a public scholarship from the government. Although you can use a private scholarship and try your luck. I know a few who used a private scholarship and are in Germany today.
Sometimes I feel like it doesn’t really matter if it’s public or private. They might just say PUBLIC because it’s hard to get one especially for bachelors students. Well sha, just get the scholarship.

Hello house. For category A under 'first class degree not less than two years old'. Can an interim transcript/note from the Registrar suffice for certificate? I am asking, because I haven't gotten my certificate yet. Thanks.

Can you provide more context why you think the information is false. It will be great if we have more information on this matter. This could save us a lot of time and struggle.

It is not a false info. My experience was a good example. I gained admission in 2020, waited for appointment but didn’t get any until 2021. My studies is a double degree with another university in Poland with which I got a scholarship that can help survive in the country since we might not be able to work in the Poland.
I applied to Poland embassy with the visa I got to visit the school they rejected me 2ce until I came to my senses, realising I had a scholarship all along that was just for the 2nd semester in Poland. I used this scholarship to apply for CAT A and I was given appointment.
So the person is right.

Thanks for providing more context to the topic. Was your visa application approved with the scholarship?

Also, did you have to come with the original letter of the scholarship or a digital printout will do?

A digital printout will do.

Well if the scholarship approval documents were sent by post, then you’ll have to photocopy it and take both the original and the photocopied one for your interview. But if they were sent by email, I’d suggest you just print it in colored copy and photocopy it. Either one will do.

I really don’t know much but I think it depends on the scholarship you’re applying for. Few accepts such. Although just check their requirements and the CGPA they require to be qualified for the scholarship.
