It was the flop of SYE that affected Level Up. If not Level up was a good season and far better than SYE.

I think Nigerians and blacks practice colorism differently.

Nigerians have this awkward envy and masked dislike for lightskinned men and dark skinned women. They've sworn to always withhold their full support from these two groups. Whitemomey winning in his time is still a miracle to me. And I keep asking myself if they were asleep when he snatched that win or how did that shit happen? Cos that's totally Illegal in the average Nigerian mind.

The hate any confident light skinned guy and any beautiful dark skinned girl(the ones in the house are just there btw)

They don't want a fair nigga to ever be the star in a show. They hate a dark skinned bird being the love Interest in any triangle. If any of these two are happening, they would immediately hype-up a laycon or a phyna to dampen the shine of those two. I tell you many Nigerians are colorist bastards. Your skin colour 99.9% of the time determines your fate already on the show. If left in the hands of the average colorist in Nigeria, Tiwa, Arya Star would never smell those top spots they are enjoying in the music Industry. The colorist Nigerians would see to it!
