profsomebody:the embassy did not state that the document must be certified, if it was compulsory they will say so in the student visa checklist.certification is mostly required when apply for schools in germany and also uniassist . 1 Like |

profsomebody:The essence of certification and/or authentication of any document is to certify/authenticate that the copy(ies) you are sending is TRULY a copy made from the original, i.e the certifying/authenticating body (court, relevant ministries or embassy) is saying that, "yes, we saw the original(s), we verified it/them and can confidently say the copy(ies) made therefore is from an original and should be treated as (an) original(s) for the time being" since you are not expected to post your original documents to anyone/body (with a very few exceptions) otherwise you are there to present it IN PERSON. Long story uhm? 😁 Embassy and universities will only request for certified/authenticated copies except if you have to be there in person, you can show them, and get it back. 1 Like |

xteem001:Just go to nearest high court or Court of appeal for certification. It has to have a sealed red print on each document to be certified. If it’s for admission process |

Jolands:Depends on who’s interviewing you and the course you’re studying. Sometimes most people going for Bsc or Msc are usually the ones given questions to solve. But not all. |
