ASSISTED SERVICE AT TLS IKEJA

Good morning people,,
Please does anyone know if docs to be uploaded at the TLS needs to be printed out or they can use soft.cooy from phone? My daughter has an appointment on Monday and most of the docs aren't printed out yet. Will appreciate someone who has used ASSISTED service before because I usually do self upload.

Thank you

10 months not true. Even the main applicant gets between 1-3 months only to enter. Which 10 months
its auto correct. 1month I meant to type.

Did you say 10 months ?
Maybe he previously had a visitors Visa that was valid .
Even MA can't go earlier than a month before her course starts

I know someone who arrived 10month before his wife who was the MA

1month.

it was 1month not 10. He just explained that he came to get accommodation and prepare for his wife and children arrival

[quote author=duchess90 post=124729161]Hello

You can't enter before the MA

Either same time or after

You will be sent back at POE

Please don't listen to hearsays claiming someone they know did it.

Getting a Hotel etc is not of any concern

The MA is the person of interest not dependants

But I know the person. It was weird but it happened and he entered quite alright. His wife was the MA and she came with children later.

Thank you.

Yes i submitted my 6month statement.Didnot look at day 0 for the last day it was almost 2M.

Hi..thanks for your response. Reason I really want to know about the balance on day 1 was just to avoid a situation where they feel I started building my account. Even though I have a sponsor. Does the pattern of transactions in the account matter if I eventually have up to 2.5m but being sponsored by someone

Have you checked that TLS page ,the page that has your appointment date, track , upload etc
Click on upload and upload your docs ..or is that where you submitted ? I doubt because it's supposed to take you to your summary page and ask you to confirm submission .

quote author=deeteeneey post=124727785]please i need help.

I had mistakenly submitted UK visa application without uploading all supporting documents, what can I do? I'm so confused.

For somebody that paid for Flexi Appointment and booked for next Thursday(3/08) but later got chance on Monday 31/07. Can the person go for biometric on Monday even when he's having Thursday reflecting on his bio page? I try amending it to Monday but seems it's not going back? Can I go to the TLS centre on Monday since I paid 44k for the Flexi appointment??

Good evening.

Pls I want to ask a question and aid on what to be done.

My bro visa application to the UK was denied early this year feb. He took too long before he went to pick up his passport. On getting to Tls, he was told the passport has been returned to UK embassy in Nigeria and was given an email address to request for it to be sent back.

Now it's more than a month and no feedback nor email feedback. Pls what else can be done as the passport is needed for a Canadian scholarship.

Hello everyone,

My sister applied for UK visa but made a mistake in her form. Where they asked if she has family in the UK, she said no but the answer should be yes Just few hours ago we saw this mistake. Do you know if there will be any implication please ? Do they really reckon with having or not having family in the UK.
Will this affect her visa? Can she write a letter to acknowledge this error as soon as possible and upload it along with her other documents.

Thanks

Hello,

Pls is a transit visa needed for Lufthansa via Frankfurt to the UK if one has a Canadian immigrant visa (the one entry PR visa).

won’t be relocating to Canada till early next year but plan to visit the UK (I have a UK visa)

Has anyone been in similar situation or have an idea?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Newbiein2016: 8:56am On Jul 30, 2023
I think the exemption is if you hold a valid residence permit or a visa to Canada.

Check with Lufthansa directly.

Yeah I have a Canadian visa but not visit so why I’m not sure.

Will check with the airline like you advised. Thank you

Also see if you can write to the embassy for confirmation.

Since you have a valid immigrant visa, you technically shouldn't have any problem as the requirement simply states one must hold either a residence permit or visa.

You hold a valid visa.

I'm a bit more drastic in my approach and will cancel and restart an application for my peace of mind.

If she isn't staying with this family during her visit, you can include a cover letter with any proof with the family (pictures etc.) to acknowledge the error made.

Flexi appointment as defined by TLS is "You can arrive at the Visa Application Centre at any time during opening hours on the day of your appointment...."

I know I have read here about people who were able to walk-in regardless of their appointment dates and were attended to, so might be worth trying if urgent.

Do note however that this is peak period for visa applications (summer holidays, student visas etc.) and this might affect how TLS responds to your attempt.

You do not need a transit visa since you currently hold a valid canadian visa

Hi. I'd appreciate any responses from people who share this experience.

I overstayed my UK Study visa and voluntarily returned in 2013. I am being invited for a book promotion tour in Sept as well as a friend's wedding.

Some people say that because it's been 10 years, I can apply and my visa may be considered. Others say it is mission impossible and the Home Office will never reconsider an overstayer.

Kindly let me know any real-life examples you have seen of anyone who overstayed. Were their future visas ever approved or not?

Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by puffmama: 2:14pm On Jul 30, 2023
Even if you were banned which you were not , I think it's worth trying . You can apply for 6 months and add all supporting docs.
There is a question Abt if you have been in the UK in the last 10 years, since your answer is No, there won't be a need to refer to your overstay .

I think Finding a UK solicitor would help you though. https://uksolicitors.org/

Your application might not be straightforward and you might need someone to draft a Visa support letter with relevant laws cited blah blah blah. I'm not saying you should do it tho

I suggest you apply and address the issue of overstay in a cover letter.

It's been over 10 years so even if you were banned for overstaying, you have not applied in 10 years.

I know people who were banned and deported from the UK and they are now citizens.
