Hello gurus in the house.

Quick question.

A friend of mine was recently denied study visa based on insufficient funds. He used his uncle as his sponsor and the opening balance was about 200 something thousand Naira and closing balance was about 32million.( I have asked him to request gcms note to get details about his refusal he said he doesn’t know how) He has a business which he also added his bank statements(with about 3.5mil) and cac for the first application.

My question is this…

He wants to use his younger sister now as his sponsor who is a Nurse in America(moved from New Zealand to US last year) She has a fixed deposit of 20million in her Naira account and has a joint acct with her husband with about $30k USD(her husband is willing to co sign the sponsorship letter) Can his sister use these 2 Accts the (Naira and US accts) as POF. The candidate in question will also put his own acct with about 4mil and his cac and land documents et al. Do you think this will fly? Will changing sponsor affect anything?

PS he deferred his admission from sept to Jan 2024

Yes it can fly if well packaged.
Changing sponsors wouldn't affect anything. Need to really prove why his or her sister and her hubby will jointly want to sponsor tho in the sop

I’m also interested in his response to why they are fraudulent too

Did you see the link I sent??

He doesn't have any response. People just coming to public space to make statements they can't prove. The school don't offer programs eligible for pgwp. Best you inform people about that and not making claims they defraud people. The school has never claimed to offer programs eligible for pgwp. They always state it clear.

You have time still quoting him, he couldn’t explain who and who the school defrauded, he couldn’t mention anyone he knows that have graduated from the school and came back to Nigeria . Talk is cheap

Did you see them defrauded anyone on their page? The school stated their requirements they never hide anything from anyone applying to study with them….

Hi guys!!!
Please in a situation where wife is applying for study permit and the husband is her sponsor. Can the husband also apply for SOWP along with the wife's application? If yes, then it means both will use the the sponsor's (husband's) POF?
Thanks for your prompt, responses.

You misquoted the interpretation of Can College as a scam because they don't offer PGWP.

There are many schools in Canada that admitted international students but don't offer PGWP that are DLI.

Good morning sir

My brother isn't sponsoring me fully. He will pay $9,309 my first semester deposit and will be giving me his account statement but i'll be taking care of my living expenses, flight, accommodation cost myself. My course is 2 years and i have no dependant.

I've been into business for a while now so i want to submit my personal account statement alongside his own.

zubizareta:

One step at a time get visa first before asking what amount you will use as BTA.

As for your brother being your sponsor. It depends on the cost of your tuition, the duration and the number of Dependants if any.
Also, are you working or doing business for a while? If yes, then it wouldn't be logical sensible for your brother to fully sponsor you.

Then that's fine. Don't fail to add supporting docs of your brother as your sponsor and explain why your brother should sponsor you with possible evidence.

Yes Humber's initial deposit if the full first semester fees and it has ro reach the school before the given date for you to secure your seat in the school.

I'm for Humber too, January intake and there's a Telegram group with current and incoming students.

ChiomaMC:
I have gotten admission in Humber for two different intakes September 2023 and January 2024 for PGC, though my September admission was waitlisted and later admitted, unfortunately, I could not pursue it due to finance before it expired, I reapplied to be considered for January, I also asked for change of course, I was shocked that it didn't even take up to two weeks before they gave me admission for January, and before that they even asked if I was still interested in one of the courses they waitlisted me for September intake which I responded they admit me for January instead because of Visa processing time. The only thing with them is that their initial deposit is the full first semester fee.
Please who is going to Humber college, any Whatsapp group? cos I need inputs with this process.

Hello,
Please what's the current rate or amount for POF?

zubizareta:

Yours seems straight forward.
Weak economic/home ties, no career progression.

What program did you apply for and what are you currently doing? Business or working as

You need to repackage your sop.
Lastly, when did you apply? Hope it wasn't before rate went up. If not, you will also need to rework your pof
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by justmoveglobal: 9:07am On Aug 02, 2023
Yes I know institution and program can be changed but why go through that stress of changing DLI when you can just apply to a DLI institution and do your program
Larryjam:
Hmmm have you thought about changing DLI when you get to Canada?

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by justmoveglobal: 9:16am On Aug 02, 2023
Yes he can change sponsor but why using 3 different account when two acct can do the job, let him use one of the sponsor's acct either the naira or the usd acct with his own it will fly. what is the duration of his program?
