Lol lol okay sir
Gajagojo:
Has anyone sent soldiers

People just blabbering to seek relevance
Why does Tinubu need knowledge in the military ? How many American or NATO leaders have that?
If you don't have anything to say be quiet

Part of diplomacy is to make your adversary believe there is a military threat
People have robbed banks with toy guns

They said clearly it is a LAST RESORT

Even if they don't go into NIger are we not already being devastated by instability in the Sahel
Where do all those killing people in Plateau come from? Sooner or later we will need to establish bases outside Nigeria across the region to curtail aims and drug trafficking

Niger does not have what it takes to stand ECOWAS.
Also I don't want this war on Niger, they are trying to find a govt that will suit them, but I seriously don't want them to think a military dictator is better than a democratic govt.

I think they have to look for a voice in Democracy than settling for military rule
what concerns you with the affairs of other countries? Face your shithole country where everything corrupt is celebrated.

What makes you think Niger doesn't have what it takes to stand ECOWAS? Bro, don't let's dwell into that. With what Bode George said, don't you think Nigeria has a country is about to get herself involved in a proxy war?

The war Russia, China, France, US along with the EU countries set-up to negotiate before the war get to their continent. I can see now that black people doesn't think critically. "To some, a smile is like a trojan horse."

Tinubu is playing out the handbook of America, France along with the US. Tinubu owns a property in France. He was once find wanting in the US and in the UK, he owns more than a property there. So, he can easily be manipulated and touched by these country's leaders.

This is the most sensible post by Bode george .

Tinubu should be careful . All wars start on a happy note among countries who support it ,but ultimately majority of them do not go as planned .

Saudi - Yemen ,Russia -Ukraine ,USA - Afghanistan, USA -Vietnam, Soviet -Afghanistan ,USA -Iraq wars to name a few ,have not gone to plan .

Soviet adventures in Afghanistan is one of the major point in the dissolution of Soviet union as Soviet union, already close to bankruptcy became one after this war .

USA adventures in Iraq ,Afghanistan have tremendously inflated DEBT of USA , as dollar is de facto currency of the world and they can print as much money as they want ,There are only feeling small pain or else they would also be bankrupt like Soviet union .

Nigeria economy is in a worse shape to handle this war .

If Tinubu wants to go to war ,if his military advisors recommend ,then not only Nigeria army but also USA and France Army already present should join the campaign and USA should provide Billions of dollars to Nigeria for support as it cost lots of money to move troops and material .

Failing to do this ,Nigeria might be on verge of collapse like Soviet Union due to huge economic burden .

Having said that ,Tinubu being a street smart politician knows exactly what he is doing .

What does he knows?
Tinubu only knows how to expand his empire and not warfare.

My friend, in AFRICA, it has been proven many times that military dictatorship is better than a democratic government.
Democracy is not for Africans.
Look at Rwanda today and what Kagane has done, look at Nigeria under military rule, little Cameroon with 1 President for 40 years can guarantee stable 24 hrs electricity at a very cheap price but Nigeria cannot.
Imagine a country with 10th largest oil reserve in the world with no working government refinery but Cameroon has a working refinery.
Lets not talk about infrastructure and investments the military left which still exist today, airports, seaports, stadiums, Lagos state....
Lets not talk about Nigeria Airlines, who born Kenya and Ethiopia?
Even small Cameroon get government airline domestic and international not to talk of Gabon, places where no reach Lagos state in terms of population but they have got steady hands, these countries have figured out the type of democracy which works for them and have stuck to it and they beat the so called giant of Africa hands down on so many things.
Let me shock you, since independence in the Cemac zone, Cameroon has only seen 2 Presidents since 1960 and the current President is grroming his son to take over power, In Chad the President died and his son took over in 2021, In Gabon the president died and his son took over, In Equatorial Guinea, the first President was ousted in a coup by his nephew, who has appointed his son as Vice President to take over from him.
Do you get the picture?
Call it whatever you like, dictatorship or whatever but citizens of these countries are better of than Nigerians.
We might have the dangotes and adenugas but the poorest person in these countries is richer and enjoys a better quality of life by a long stretch than the poorest person in Nigeria.
The average Nigerian has never seen 24 hours electricity without noise from Gen.

If there was military rule from 1999 till now, Nigeria would have been far better off, there would still be corruption but not on this scale.
Sometimes I wish OBJ took a 3rd term, even a 7th term and I also wish Abacha shouldn't have died.
Democracy in Africa is another name for crude theft just like snake swallowed millions, 500 m for cutting grass, 8 billion for 8 fireservice trucks, 500m per bulletproof car, bullion vans in broad daylight, Nigeria Air, 300 billion for elections, Billions for census, 15 million naira bras, Billions for feeding children during covid, security votes etc etc etc.

One synonymous characteristics of all Nigerians is hypocrisy! its just too pathetically obvious.....just like corruption...a lot of them buy their way through to civil service and obtain their employments through crocked means but will continue to criticize as if they are not partakers of the rot!... a lot of them have numerous birth certificates but will be here criticizing Tinubu....SMH..

To the subject matter.....

One of the benefit of democracy is the ability to change government..... Though Buhari was a pathetic leader, at least we knew that at the end of 8 years maximum, another person will come in!... that is the beauty!.... Now imagine a military rule of Buhari!....

The truth is Nigeria is a giant in west Africa and we need to keep things in check in this region if you dont want wahala....the Bokoharam issue is a case study... just imagine that Chad and Niger are sympathetic to the cause of these terrorists, Nigeria will be over ran by now! same with Cameroon!...

These people are our neighbors and enemies of Nigeria must not be in power particularly not a domineering military Junta!

I don't know how they will do it...I also don't want war coz war is expensive and costs human lives but power needs to return to the people!

Go and join a party and solicit for change if you are so desperate for change!

Ogbeni nothing concern you with Niger, fuel is 700naira and people are starving..haba

That is the problem with you people! of course fuel is #700...the government needs to find solution.....but to the subject matter....

Have you heard of Multinational Joint Task Force? without them Boko haram would have ram y'all over..... and while searching, read on the input of Chad and Niger in securing the chad basin from these terrorists......

Nigeria losing Niger to an uncooperating leader in the country is a very big threat to Nigeria's security! Just read about the conflicts between Riwanda, Burundi and DRC and know why your boarders are important...

Why do you think Russia is fighting? why do u think China is mobilizing to Taiwan against the influence of US and NATO?..... You guys will just talk as if the people is Aso Rock are stupid. They might be incompetent but not stupid since they were able to maneuver y'all and get to power! they are not stupid.....

The Junta you guys are praising out smarted his president but when Tinubu outsmarted about 200 million ppl, you are all crying.....

He who pays the piper dictates the tone. Niger is literally the 37th states in Nigeria, so whatever happens there is our problem.
If things go South for the country with this dictator in power, it's still Nigeria that'll bear the financial brunt.

If I were to be the President, I'll start building a China-like great wall along our border with Niger and Chad and man it with men ready to shoot trespassers at sight. Since the people are happy with soldiers in government, they should enjoy their country.
The poverty in that country is causing a refugee crisis in Nigeria already. Most of these people we call Hausas are actually Nigeriens. They only get to learn Hausa on arrival.

They say charity begins at home.

I don't think sending our troops to Niger is a good idea, we have our own security challenges which includes

Boko Haram, Killer herdsmen and UGM among others
more over the issues they are currently facing in Niger is none of our fucking business,
Niger is a sovereign nation and the people should decide what they want.

I took time to read this and I must say it is well in order.

I don't understand why Tinubu makes hasty statements without stakeholders input.

First was subsidy removal speech right at inauguration venue.

I believe he should end Boko Haram, banditry and south East issue issue.

Attacking Niger will make Nigerians in border refugees as they will face attacks. This will need money to feed them and resettle them.

To me, the war is needless but I believe he should secure the release of their President through dialogue.

In a war, you will be fighting visible and invisible enemies.
Putin was told that he could run over Ukraine in less than a month. And here they are. Niger has uranium used in nuclear weapons. So expectedly US, Russia, China and other nuclear powers will be interested and can flip their support to whoever protects their interests. Those developed nations do not fight for democracy--they couldn't care less.

Are the people of Niger complaining?

Why do you think u or anyone should tell nigeriens the type of government that should suit them?

How does what happens in Niger affect nigerias security and pose serious threat?

Threat to what exactly?
