They are fighting for liberation of their country from imperialism. We should never have intervened. We are now in a tight spot because we can’t go forward and we can’t go back.

Sanctions only affect ordinary people. Those who masterminded the coup will feel nothing.
Sanctions are meant to push citizens against their leaders. In matter of weeks watch how Nigeriens go against the coup leaders when their economy start going down.

Their letter should have been then directed to the coupists.

This must be fake news.
I saw a video where a guy on Youtube said that
Wagner has sent billions of dollars, missiles, hundreds of reaper drones and food to support Niger coup plotters.
He said the palliatives was secretly moved in big trucks under the cover of the night last week.

Same Wagner that could not hold a mutiny in Russia for long? They will bow out when Nigerienes suck them dry and no single bullet will be exchanged as expected. Sanction is like Siege tactic where resources flow are cut out. The masses suffer.

See ignorant.
We produce...ie generate, but we have issue with transmission. Generation.... transmission... distribution....those are how power works.
We sell the excess power generated to other countries because we lack the resources to transmit everything generated due to cost.

Transmission is very, very expensive....average cost is about two usd million for a 100 I'm road.

You father and your motber are ignorant.

Less than a week into the sanctions, and they are already crying. No wonder the Brainless Coupist General quickly rushed to welcome Emir Sanusi grin

Wait till African Union also impose their own sanctions by the end of this week when their ultimatum expires. A country that 40% of its budget is financed by ECOWAS, AU and the West is doing shakara. Just last year Buhari dashed these Niger soldiers military vehicles and built a rail system for them.

Ps: IPOB members and Obidients will be bitter at this new development. They never want anything good for Nigeria.

Look at all the thieves that tinubu appointed as ministers.

Including akpabio his rubber-stamp that was sharing holiday token to his fellow senators while they asked Nigerians to sacrifice.

If Nigeria was a person, it would give you a dirty slap.

When the heat is hot enough, it is those same ordinary people that will rebel against those who masterminded the coup and they will start feeling something.

What is the end game of the sanctions?

Let even assume that the coup leaders leave, bazzoum is reinstated and France get back in control.

How is it in Nigeria's short or long term interests?

Are you aware that it was France that frustrated the Eco currency and is responsible for a lot of our security woes?

The IQ of Nigeria is said to be as low as 74.
People like you and tinubu prove it everyday.

And Wagner is father christmass, the kind of brain in both those that say such and those that believe it amaze me. Apart from uranium, that is already in different companies names jointly by the government of Niger, they have nothing, what exactly will Wagner get.

This Nigerien coup is perfectly suited for Nigeria's long term interests.

Remove the french and we have a free range to play in west Africa.

But with puppet leaders like tinubu with case files in the hands of the fbi and CIA, forget common sense and patriotism.

Nigeria has an agreement with Niger to supply them electricity in exchange for Niger not damming the Niger river.
If Niger dams the river Niger for electricity and irrigation purposes, we will be the ones needing to buy light from them, besides our farming will be affected.
Nigeria, sanctioning Niger with electricity despite the agreement has shown we are not reliable. In this case, it will not be out of place Niger makes it a policy to dam the Niger river once they attain stability.

Niger as it is presently, doesn't have any wherewithal anywhere to build a dam across the river Niger.
Even Nigeria as at today will not be able to fund the construction of a dam except they take loans from international sources or as usual, ask China to build the dam and they pay back over the years.
Building a dam in this present day no be beans or akara...even for a country like Nigeria, talk less of Niger that is owing Nigeria millions of dollars for electricity we have supplied them...take it from me as a construction cost professional.
