On GSK, it seems they winding down operations in Nigeria. What is their bvps?

You also need to look at their equity and OS, it looks like 10naira per share which might have triggered people to start selling.

This is my newbie thoughts

We are enjoying e-dividends today because of the efforts of some people who knew their rights. The experience keeps getting better with more people who know their rights and won't stop till they get the convenience that they deserve/desire.

Hopefully we can get to the stage where someone will not need to fill e-mandate before getting their dividend. I believe the issue of having to complete e-mandate is discouranging some people particularly those in the diaspora from investment in NSE

I believe we will get to that stage in less than a decade.
I agree with you 100%. It is a pain.

Meaning hope dey say one day Transcorp go make us proud by crossing 100
Let's hope Transcorp will make her shareholders proud one day. smiley

By my own amateur calculations, let's look at it this way;

40B ÷ 2.5B = 16
(Transcorp 40B OS divided by Geregu 2.5B OS)

Meaning: Ratio 1:16
(For every 1 Geregu, you have 16 Transcorp)

- Looking at Geregu price, N300 average, then:
* N300 ÷ 16 = N18.75

Worst case scenario, the N8 on top ...... grin

Don't mind my analysis paralysis, maybe I'm over-visualizing this thing grin.........but......Transcorp shouldn't be selling at CP (3.50/3.60) ordinarily.
*Maybe the gurus could help us calculate it's fair value with respect to recent financials.

Too easy but we don't harmonise data in Nigeria. Everything to pay e dividends is with cscs. Just get data from cscs and pay or give cscs additional responsibility to pay dividends to investors bank

Total Destruction of wealth, years of savings, waste of time, effort and money investing in the damn economy.

Honestly, if anyone on this thread (mostly the active individuals) do not have at least 30% of their net worth tied to the dollar up till very now, I would truthfully suggest they humbly give their money to someone else to manage it for them.

Let face the harsh realities; those of us who do not jump on this dollar train are in great massive loss, I don’t care what you invested in. The loss might not directly reflect on your portfolio but it is there, it is significantly there.

If you own property, you did not lose. In fact, your property is more inflation resistant than that dollar. The most hit are the savings accounts denominated in Naira.

It will go round, except you earn dollars or you are planning to die today you will be affected. All the Naira you are going to earn from now on has been derated.

Naira that will continue to buy less and less every year. 5 years ago, earning 500k a month made you feel like a big boy, you could afford to own many foreign products, now 500k is like earning 200k. embarassed lipsrsealed

I have no touched dangsugar since I sold my home holding early 2008. As for nascon I don't really like the company I mean I have never invest in it. But considering Aliko's plan of dangote food, I may try them if they return to 15 and below.
