well at least you fully get the message NOW... if the west can meddle with Russian affairs in Ukraine, then Russia will do the same with the western affairs around the world... thus why today Russia decided to go to Niger where the west (US/FRANCE) have been jejely collecting petrol/uranium/gold for years (under the guise of "democracy" and terrorism protection)

next on the map is Mali!!

Good just like in Ukraine, they can't do much.. Else invitation for west to fully get involved in Ukraine and u know Russia dont want that..

The Economic Community of West Africa Disagree With Your Position Because Other Channels Better Be Used Than Military Siezing Powers ....

Everybody has Taken a Stance .... Niger is Part of ECOWAS & Bounded By Some Treaties ...

This is ECOWAS Thing, Hope AU, EU & Others Would Chill In ...

The Juntas Has No Option But to Surrender ...

Military Rule Must Be Long Gone in Africa & That's The Message From ECOWAS in Niger ...

If Action is not Taken Now, The Entire West Africa shall be consumed Again By Heavy Militarization & Counter Coups ....

Nope, We Don't WANT That .....Junta Must Go ..

The Military Must Be Curtailed By Other Superpowers Military so to Send Message Against Coup & Counter Coup ....

This Message Must Be Loud & Clear ...

We Can't afford to go back to Pre-1999 ..

Military Rule is all Fallacy throwing the people much more into Jeopardy!

Lol guy shey u sure say u no be Nigerien sha dis one ure shouting junta must go yi... If oda country wants to discard democracy it's not dere fault na infact dis will even make other African politicians to sit tight dey should know everybody is now waking up from dere slumber dey should treat dere citizens right.

As ECOWAS President, do you now expect Tinubu to fold his arms when there are pressing issues?

You must be taking ECOWAS for Nigeria. Other members of the union also have stakes in this.

I understand that. But what I don't understand is what do Nigeria and other ECOWAS members state stand to gain from invading Niger?

Tinubu is not Warring Niger ...

ECOWAS is Warring Niger ... It's normal to have dissent among Communities ..

Tinubu just happened to be the chairman of ECOWAS Which Tenure is Only One Year...

ECOWAS is What You Should Crit

See this olodo, like Tinubu like supporter.
Between 2003 and 2011, Nigeria contributed $918.7 million (N138 billion) to the running of the Community, followed at a distance by Ghana at $225.7 million (N34 billion), and Cote D’Ivoire at $107.5 million (N16.1 billion).
For years, Nigeria’s funding to the 15-member body stood at three to six times what other nations contributed. That ratio rose recently to over 60 percent of ECOWAS’ total revenues, with the introduction of community levies, according to data showing annual state-wide contributions.

ECOWAS is going to war that is largely funded by Nigeria. Your ignorant self doesn't know that Nigeria houses ECOWAS and a point even threatened to stop funding the commission.

When Russia was invading Ukraine, we were here condemning Russia for invading a sovereign country.

But guess what, the mentally retarded ijiots are now championing Nigeria’s invasion of Niger Republic, were the greatest supporters of Russia.

They swore by their ancestors grave that Russia would capture Kyiv in 72 hours.

It’s more than a year now and Russia is losing grounds in Ukraine instead of gaining grounds. Kyiv is still standing and might never be captured by Russia.

Now, like deja vu, these fools are swearing that Nigeria would destroy Niger in 13 hours.

Like we warned Russia, we are now warning Nigeria against ill fated choice, but the idiotic fools who call themselves patriots are urging them on.

Fuel price is about to hit N700.

Dollar is nearing N1000.

Prices of essential commodities are beyond the reach of the average Nigerian.

These are the things that the Nigerian government should rather spend money on, but it’s rather choosing to go waste billions invading Niger.

And fools are cheering them on. Comparing Nigeria Generals with Nigerien Generals.

No wahala!

Like we are telling Russia “we warned you” now, that’s how we will be here to tell Nigeria and the war hungry urine dispenser “we warned you”.
Some of you are so foolish that you can't understand simple writeup or situation. Who told you that the war is Nigeria vs Niger?? Oponu everywhere angry angry angry

Uranium - major component for making atomic bomb/energy. Niger is richly blessed with Uranium. As for Nigeria,it is a serious security threat to have coupists in power right at her backyard !

because gas pipeline from Nigeria is supposed to run through Niger republic, then Algeria to Morocco to Spain to serve as alternative to Russian gas.
Do you get the Koko?
Aside uranium and Gold, this gas is direly needed by the West.
When the West wanted free gas from Syria and a regime change(to remove Assad and install a puppet)
Putin came to help Assad and also help himself.thats why Russia intervened in Syria.
ECOWAS are being set up for a fall by Pentagon.
ECOWAS thinks it's AK 47 fight but missiles will rain in Niger and there is enough landmass for this show.
Tinubu is careless, why not look away?

Not all times na, sometimes infact d best of all times is when we sit n dialogue without war. Have u ever seen a place where war took place without fragments or should I call it debris? It is always bloody and most times dis wars could have been prevented if dere is good talks from both sides.
Dialogue don't work with military juntas!
People seem not to understand this, if it were to be two nations with civilian rule, there would have been room for dialogue, but when it comes to military coup, dialogue don't work. The only language they understand is war.

Every thing Niger military junta has achieved so far was through force, u can't start preaching dialogue to them, they will never listen. The only way to make them see reasons is through show of force, anything short of that will be a total waste of time. ECOWAS have no choice than to engage them, else they will lose their position in the Africa space.

The military won't even be there for long. They're already orchestrating programmes that would lead to transition into a democratic rule but ecowas seems to be blind to this.

I urge Nigerian leaders to caution tinubu so he doesn't lead our country into chaos. If boko haram could invade us and unleash mayem for over a decade yet, we couldn't defeat them, we should thread with caution . It's easy to know the beginning of the war. Its end could be a decade after.
Easier said than done!
Countless times Gowon said he was going to handover to civilian rule, but always postponed it at the eleventh hour. Truth is, if this coup is allowed, it is going to usher in series of coup, it won't be long before another coup takes over & it is going to continue like that.

This handing over to civilian rule is just charade. Power corrupts, once the military taste power, they will not let go. They will only be sharing it among themselves through coup.
