if the adverts placed on the domain did not reflect the domain keyword, simply add related keywords under the setting. You can equally change the background to look more appealing and attractive. Though your original CPC is not that high but you also need to confirm the traffic statistic. If it is low, you supposed to have earned more than that.

You're right. Newbie mistake. That was why I said 'funny enough' and it was an outbound that led to a first sale. I realized later on that it had more cons than pros. It doesn't even have any iota of advantage. I stopped it a long time. Thanks for this post, newbies would see it and act rightly. I'll modify the post.

In one word a domain name is an online real estate. If you want to get a website for personal or business use, what you need first is a domain name. Just like if you want to to build a house, no matter your plans and design, you need a land first.
In other words, without a domain name there will be no website. Without a domain name there will be nothing like e-mail address. "Now how do I make money from it"? The truth is that most good domain names have been taken. ... They have all gone. For example all 3letter domains names has been taken. You can form it and confirm. The only avenue to target is expired domain names. And what is expired domain name again? These are domains that the original owners fail to renew. every domain has an expiry date. The maximum you can register a domain is 10 yr which the minimum is just 1 yr. Now if the original owner fail to renew it after the year duration, some grace period will be given after the domain will be dropped and become available for anyone to re- register and it's legal.

Now this is quite easy and anybody with the right information and tools can do it and have a wonderful result. This is from my personal experience and not a hear say. Now this is richly profitable but just like any other business it has some basic strategies and ways to do it in order to get decent result.

Something weird just happened this night.Dan sent me a message about an offer of $750 for the domain Huntingtonpropertymanagement.com but the problem is i dont remember registering this name or adding it to my dan portfolio at any point in time. I checked the whois of this domain and i see the domain was registered today. Then i check my dan dashboard and i see the nigeria flag and its someone called josh alfred that made the ridiculous offer. I dont get the game this person is trying to play but whoever knows this Josh alfred should warn him. I have reported this issue to dan and told them to investigate. I dont understand why nigerians like moving weird.

Same day too I received an offer from one Tyler perry for one of my domain with a Nigerian flag too.

Researching on Geo, isn't by SV, CPC or those bogus metrics on ED filters...

It is by two things (always exception): Geo city competitiveness on their url + the keywords.

Eg. Using the keyword " Luxuryrentals " on Ed search then follow the filters... Above,

Scroll through the results... If for instant you consider a geo good enough lest say you find Fortlauderdale + luxuryrentals...

Then scan the url on Google map desktop results for first two pages... observe how competitive the location is ...

1. Observe the endusers urls : see a few Google url results below:

This is enough competition to consider this domain.

2. Look out for varient on Dan.... Save your self the stress visit Dan and check using same domain Fortlauderdale + rentals: Once you observe too many similar names with average/low price or alternative keyword like, HomeRentals , ApartmentRentals, VacationRentals.... Advisable to skip... Obviously you all are all spannming same users. (Always exception)

If the name is available you can go ahead and reg it.


C. Add more selling Niches to your filter
You can find what was listed on Dan everyday by other Domainers using Ed filters...

Below is a filter for Geo Dan category, you can do for Goddaddy etc...

Star/watchlist potential listed domains and check back if it got sold 2-3 months from now... E get why.

Also you can check back previous thread page for past sales and compile all keywords, using the method above run though Ed... You would find enough gem... Some might have been on Ed since 2008, 2013, etc... This is refreshing for endusers.

Lastly, nothing bad risking $100 to buy 12 names and hope to just sell just one for $100 or $200 or $500 range... This is not a financial advice.
