raskymonojendor:Ignorance Kwara state has been inhabited for years by various ethnic groups, primarily the majority Yoruba people that live throughout the state, but there are sizeable minorities of Nupe people in the northeast, Bariba (Baatonu) and Busa (Bokobaru) peoples in the west, and a small Fulani population in Ilorin, moving through the state as nomadic herders.[13] In the pre-colonial period, majority of the area that is now Kwara state was part of the Oyo Empire, with part of the western portions in the Borgu Kingdoms peopled by the Bariba, Boko and Bissa people, and Nupe Kingdom (1531-1835). |

bigdammyj: Attention Governor Sanwo-Olu: Your Excellency Sir,you are doing good works but take note: 1.the Ikorodu - Agbowa- Itoke Road is a Dissaster and a death-trap! For some of us going through this Areas is a hacculean task, with many Souls lost on daily basis! - this is the first Road that both East and West were using - the Young shall grow Buses, etc, were then using this road then, until other roads came up! - This Road needs Total Re- construction and expansion from 2- Lane to 4-lane, due to implossion of Population- running into thousands and Millions of lives here! -It will not be fair to be calling on the FERMA here because they don't exist, even though we know they do Budget for repairs of Roads every year! 2• So far, after the Eru- Elepe Road Constructions, that one going to Gberigbe-Imota Roads- has Stopped since? Why was it abandoned? It's over a year now and since ,the Contractors just stopped at the Mobil -Station roundabout over a year and the People are really suffering ! - Is this not the Road leading to the Imota- Rice Mills or how do we harvest the Rice, even though the Prices of Rice is climbing up? 3• We have not heard anything again on the 4th Mainland - Bridge? What is going on Sir? This is the Bridge that would linked other Parts of Lagos - Ikorodu - Lekki, Ajah, etc, thereby reducing pressure on the 3rd-Mainland Bridge, the Eko Bridge, etc. -Priority should be of importance,as your Govt Promised us during Electioneering Campaign that by 2027- it will be ready for the Lagosians! What is going on,our able Governor? •Remember - How The Chinese Constructed 2,200- Kilometres Roads in just 2- yrs! -Let the People know those Roads that belongs to the Federal Govt- so that we draw their attention to it! God bless governor Sanwo-Olu God bless Lagos-State and all Lagosians. |

Ilorin fake culture and traditions will cease to exist when reality is down on Nigeria as a country …..As a matter of fact Yoruba is the main language inside emir palace.Ilorin people are hiding under Hausa Fulani political power to suppress other communities in Kwara State. A divided Nigeria will give Yoruba the supreme power in Ilorin.I can bet it with anyone that the fake love Ilorin is showing north will be betrayed with ease |

FreeStuffsNG:That's awesome! Just early this year during one of the official visits of the Ooni of Ife to Brazil, the Brazilian President Lula declared an official annual public holiday for Isese and the Yoruba religion Ifa. The Yoruba religion is a well recognise international religion and it would have been a PR disaster if Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, and other Yoruba states had not declared a major annual public holiday for the Isese adherants. If this had been done since 1960, the bulls*hit by some imbeciles in Ilorin who are deflecting and hiding under Islam to play mindcontrol politics would not be happening. But then its NOT late at all to take charge as all British Colonial documents clearly indicate that Ilorin and environs are Yoruba towns. These will come in handy for presention at the UN and the courts preparatory to the referendum the British colonial administrators said should take place so as to have an Oba for the indigenous Yorubas of Ilorin. Out of the 16 LGAs in Kwara State 12 LGAs are fully Yoruba owned, 2 are Nupe owned, and 2 are Bariba owned. Farook Kperogi is a Bariba (or Batonu) from Okuta in Kwara. 3 Likes 1 Share |
