descartes400:You are not making sense at all. Did you bother to read at all before jumping into the middle of the conversation? The man said he wanted more of her time than she was willing to give to the relationship... possibly she wasn't that into him. What is there to project? |

Kobojunkie: 1. A man can be doing something for 20 years and see it as normal thing. But if a woman does the same thing even for just once, she will likely bring it up one way or the other later how she did the man a favor by what she did. Whereas the man has been doing it for years happily without even considering it as anything. For example.... Say... School fees or gas... A man can buy gas for years or pay fees for years without any hassle. But if a woman have to do that even just once, she will start complaining of how she laboured to use her money to buy gas or pay fees. From a male perspective, the kind of complain is very annoying. Now imagine the wife has more money than the husband. Every single thing she buys outside what the husband gives her will be will be up for contention later. It can generate much bad blood between the couple. If a man has something, it belongs to both of them. But if a woman have something it is hers alone. His car is their car, but her car is her car alone... And If anything happens to her stuff, the kind of complaint that will full the house eh... 2. Women don't accept responsibility for their actions and decisions when they turn out to be wrong. They will look for the nearest man to blame for it. If the woman have more money than her husband, she will likely be transferring all the blame to him. "You didn't do this, you did not do that... Why can't you do this and that while I was away? ... Who asked you to do it? It is your fault, you are the cause.." ... Any man that stay with in that kind of relationship, someone will either kill the other due to extremely bitterness or the man will die of heart attack/high blood pressure. That is why senior men don't argue with women forming "pepper". They just wear their shoes and run else na premature death |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by Kobojunkie: 4:45pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
oweniwe:None of these even so much as attempts to answer any of the questions I asked. Again.... 1. Isn't the reason the man attempts the same title the fact that he too has money and his woman supposedly doesn't? What is wrong with the woman attempting the very same when she too has money? Culturally, a man is considered the head of the family simply because he brings in the most money in the union. Now, when the tables are turned or when the woman begins to bring in just as much as the man does into the union, why is it wrong for her to demand she become an equal partner in the union or even be made the Head in the case that she brings in more than the man? 2. You mean in the world you live in, women who have money don't get married? |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by oweniwe(m): 4:53pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: 1. Q: What is wrong with the woman attempting the very same when she too has money?. Answer: There is nothing wrong with her doing it but Later she will bring it up against the man ... How she has been doing this and that. most women will remind the man of it later as if they did the man a favor. 2. They get married but if she doesn't let her husband take responsibility for the home because she has more money & hence cannot live within the means of what the husband can provide for her, it's a potential cause of conflict that can lead to divorce |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by Kobojunkie: 4:56pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
oweniwe:1. I am glad you admit that there is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman wanting to be equal where formerly she wasn't. 2. What you said doesn't make sense at all. The fact that they are both married automagically means responsibility for the home is meant to be shared. if the man refuses to take responsibility, that problem is his problem, not hers for having more money than he does. |

Higher career or not, it all depends on individual. It all depends on a well trained woman dt had a good home up bringing. Most of the poorer or lower career women are even more poisonous and dangerous. I've seen many higher career women who are so submissive to their husband. Any woman or lady who at any point challenges her man is a red flag... possible feminist In everything, never marry a feminist...period |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by oweniwe(m): 5:10pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
Kobojunkie: For where? This kind Theory is different from practical because oftentimes, couples don't really know the kind of person they got married to until few weeks after the wedding when there is no need to be pretending/hiding personal flawsb again that's when they start showing their real self So that's your assumption... But in reality, it hardly ever turns out like that |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by Kobojunkie: 5:14pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
oweniwe:I honestly don't follow at all. If you don't know who you married and why you entered into the marriage in the first place, do you have any business whatsoever with marriage, to begin with? No matter what you claim changed or what flaws you discovered after the marriage, none of that changes the fact that responsibility in the marriage lies with both individuals in the marriage. So, again, I am not certain what you are trying to say at all. |

Women if you are in a position to improve yourself, don’t do it so that you don’t mistakenly surpass your man. That would be too woke and unnatural. It goes against nature. If you’re already married and an opportunity comes your way that will make you more money but unfortunately it means your income will now be higher than your husbands income, reject the opportunity. Or get divorced. either way it will ensure you are not in a marriage where your income can exceed your man’s. Carefully curate your life so that you can have money but never more than him. If you’re getting paid for something and it turns out it’s going to be a bigger check than what’s he’s getting on his end, refund some of the money. God forbid you earn more than him. If you have a business and get a chance to expand your operations, don’t take the chance. How are we going to explain it? That you defied the natural order of things and sought to grow yourself and your career? Y’all are so mind numbingly xtupid with these threads and responses. May God protect women from marrying their enemies. Enemies of progress 2 Likes |

oweniwe:See what exactly? Was she not allowed to divorce him because she married him only two months after she met him on Tiktok? Are her reasons for seeking an end to the union not valid enough for you or what? She wrote: "This was the best 9 months of my life! I have no regrets whatsoever! I just won’t settle for a lie regardless! I forgive easily, I remember asking you about this severally before we started! Finding out today from your mum, really broke me! A foundation built upon a tiny lie won’t stand! I love how you loved me! But hate how you never mentioned your divorce nor kids to me! Moving on I don’t think I want anybody else! Just gonna love you from a distance!" |

My girlfriend now is contesting for the office of SUG VP in one of Nigerian universities which I'm also a student of the university, but, I don't delve into students politics. The thing now is, she hardly have time for me. And the relationship now is becoming shaky because of her ambition. |
Re: Why Do High-status Career Women Seem To Have Problems With Their Marriage? by Kobojunkie: 6:15pm On Aug 22, 2023 |
Ferrous:LOL... let me guess, the relationship is shaky because she no longer has as much time as she used to spend to indulge your sexual wants that is why your relationship is on shaky grounds? |

Ferrous:Do you call and text her as often as you want to though? Or do you wait for her to do it before you respond? I mean there are various ways to inundate the person you wish to stay connected with these days -- email, text message, snail mail, drop-offs at her door, answering machine, social media comments, likes, etc. So, are you at least making sure to do your own due diligence? |

High status career woman? What's that again? Managing a few or hundred of thousand employees shouldn't disrupt your marriage. We have seen married female presidents manage a nation/marriage effectively. |
