UKVI can be quite rigid when rules are already set, you are best avoiding going against any rule, that's for peace of mind.

I am not advising anyone to do more than 20hours. But two of my sisters got psw within 24hours of applying, and they did more than 20 hours for two years.

Anybody wey wan break rules work 20hrs is free to do so. There's an adage in my tribe that says, you can't stop a child not to grow big tooth, but he should also plan having a big lip to cover his big tooth.

They'll probably ask you what happened to the funds you showed them as proof that you had enough money to cover your fees and support yourself while studying?

They won't tell you how they are doing it, some work cash in hand some does it other way. Don't even say something like this in public forum cos you are jeopardising some peoples future cos if you work more than 20 hours your ni will show your hours worked.

Good point.

Also PSW is not a settlement visa. Subsequent visa applications will still need to be made to the Home office who could easily dig back a number of years if they wanted to. Tax records persist and are easily attainable.

Questions of this nature, especially when it relates to breaking the law should not be asked on public fora.

You can't tell me you do not have anyone in person around who you can ask.

Nigerians and sharp guy syndrome smh. The most annoying thing is they can’t even keep quiet about it. They’re all on IG and TikTok after one month, UK this, UK that. Even if the government decides to ignore a crime for a time, they cannot continue to turn a blind eye when it seems a crime is becoming actively promoted due to a seeming lack of consequences.
This is a country that can withdraw citizenship, let’s not forget. So even if you pass multiple contacts with HO you might not be all clear after all.
Let’s learn to be discreet and try to colour within the lines in this country.

Hmmm on this 20 hours topic, what happens to someone who finished writing their dissertation 3 months before the submission deadline but didn’t submit so they started working more than 20 hours since they were done with their school work.

It’s not when you’re done with school work. The school has a set calendar for what is term time and what isn’t.
That information is publicly available for all. Unless you have some form of special letter or document ion from your school to indicate you have concluded all academic obligations you will technically be in term time.

Be rest assured you will get your PSW. Meanwhile, try & don't let it exceed the earlier 2.

I’ve always been an advocate of Nigerians being well behaved even in the uk despite the bad eggs among us but with what I see these days and hear on this forum am done defending us as a people. Anything wey anybody collect make im receive that like that. Our own too much.

Repeating the same question in another way. You are still a student until your Uni clears you.

I'm mostly for being tolerant to questions but that question deserved that tone and worse even.

Those questions should not be asked here. One would think maybe it's someone from the HO or maybe a news agency asking the questions even, from the sheer brazenness with which people are appearing to condone violating the rules. Because I would expect anyone smart enough to get into Uni to be smart enough to apply better discretion on a public forum.
