Please ooo . Part of what I don't understand in all these is our leaders. Stealing money for them and their children, while knowing that that no matter how much they steal, white still see them as undeveloped and smelly.

As a matter of fact most of these politicians children are smelly.
There lies my confusion, aren't these politicians aware that they and their children are smelly? As long as Africa is no develop, we are all dorty and smelly. Even with your millions

For environment to be dirty like that is normal in Nigeria. That's the mentality. People don't see anything wrong with it.

Secondly No money. The authorities that are supposed to do it are not doing their job. Is it the common citizens that are struggling to make ends meet daily that should be doing their job for them?

To put fine environment like that in place requires a lot of money.

Individuals are looking for how to get and pay bills.... Govt officials/civil servants are more concerned about securing their future before they live office.

So it's very a difficult challenge to overcome without dedicated willpower and funding
I feel like strangling you at the bolded.

Oga you will see a poor suburb in the states, they'll come together organize fire station, police station, power supply, school streets and lot more as much as possible. Or you no know most states and suburbs in US is like a mini country with little help from the center?

I've seen all the comments but I think no black man would accept that he's not smart even though everything is crystal clear. They think being smart is refered to as being cunny or dubious. I only wish Americans or British can come and rule Africa again. We took dull. And you know what they say. If you want to hide knowledge from a black man put it in a book.

Bros not to even mention the disease called religion.
Even the white men that brought it here have seen that they're wrong and are now majority atheists and agonists. But no in this place!
We decided that we're the owners of religion both of Islam and Christianity.
Look at the way people rush to donate money to a an imaginary god in the sky and they grumble when they're asked for donations for their local schools!

You'll see a family that doesn't earn up to 30k a month with 5 children and when you talk to them they'll tell you they're believing in an imaginary stupid non existent God to take care of the children for them

[quote author=yemmit90 post=125622252]For Nigeria to have beautiful and organised cities, the right to build structures or buy land must be remove from individuals. Real Estate or construction companies should be the only organisations mandated by law to do so. Flexible Mortgage system must be introduce by banks, government and other financial houses. We are just wasting spaces in the name of building individuals houses, a single condo can accommodate a whole street in some localities. Would it not make sense if 50 people buy a flat each in a building than making useless structures on 50 plots of land or more. No individual or family should be allow to own more than 3 bedroom apartment or duplex if you are rich enough.

By this development, it will be very easy for investors to invest in a massive modern buildings and condos. This will also curb corruption to a greater extent as most of the loots are being spent on properties.

[You have made so much sense]

Which always make me curious, Why does everywhere in Nigeria look like it got hit by a nuclear bomb? Why? Why don't we have modern streets and cities!!

Since the inception of Nigeria, I Don't think we have built any city, And please don't even mention Banana island, It's a piece of crap!!

It's sad that only about 3% of Nigeria is actually developed and the other 97% is just straight up piece of trash!!

This is soooo brutal! grin

The truth is that everyone doesn't have the same mental capacity; I found out in the university. In school, some of us read to learn.

However, I was shocked when I met a course mate who could cram the text of an entire page of a textbook and reproduce it without looking at the page word for word. I am not kidding. God knows that I cannot do that. He graduated with 4.23. He nearly made a first class.

Meeting that guy exposed me to the fact that there are things one can never be, no matter how much one tries. Humans are not the same. Humans don't have the same mental capacity. Genetic makeups differentiate races. For Black Africans to come close to Caucasians in mental capacity, we have to invest massively in education

Lol at investing in education. Evolution will solve that not education. The Black race are intellectually below when compared with other races...that's the bitter truth. Some of us knew this all along but chose to remain mute in other not to anger some persons.

We are still evolving as humans. The black race will later catch up with today's level of the white race intellectually. That's what will solve the problem not investing in education. Lol you and I know that educated people in Africa are fully involved in contributing to our dysfunctional society.

All plants and animals has species and in these species, some are smarter, durable and better than others. These can be seen in dogs, cats, birds etc. Why do people think that this same differences doesn't apply in human?

Species in plants and animals is what we call races in human.

I initially felt like to reply your tirade likewise but on a second thought, I guess I'll refrain.

I'll give you just one example.

You must have read in the news about cement being cheaper in other countries than Nigeria. Even David Umahi was complaining about it in the news.

Are the machines used for construction made in Nigeria? They're imported. Steel rods are imported. Even fuel is imported. Then you add the importers profits.

Now ask poor Nigerian villagers to contribute money to build road. It's not a fair comparison.

In china, USA, they have all the machines needed there so they can afford to build a road in a week. But here, in some cases, the contractor have to wait over 5 months to ship the equipment from abroad, clear at the ports before transporting to site.

Cement and steel for road construction are cheaper abroad too.

Look at Dangote refinary. If it were in China or USA our even India, maximum 2 years they have finished it because all the equipment needed can be easily made there. But being here in Nigeria, almost everything in refinary has to be shipped from abroad. ... Then when you add unstable exchange rate....naira from about 250/ dollar to current 900/$

Now ask yourself again if it is Fair to compare Nigeria purchasing power with developed countries purchasing power. It's definitely a very unfair comparison

It is beyond tax payment. If we can't put $10 into good use as a people, then we can't put $1 million to good use, it is that simple! You do not share same mental capacity as the Whites, get that into your head!

Do u know a white man must be on ground to supervise the blackman to build bridges & roads uptill date? Despite the years of training, we are still unable to build a bridge without their supervision? What does that tell u? That's how low our IQ is compared to theirs. You supervised what u are better than. All u are saying here, even the English u are using, u learnt from the white man. I agree with you in terms of infrastructure, human development and technology. You go to places like Marina, yaba etc where the whites resided. Those structures and roads they built are still standing but the ones we build by ourselves doesn't stand stand the test of 10 to 15 yrs and they are already collapsing. Take a look at drainage system for example ...those ones doesn't even last up to ten years and they are already collapsing and filled with trash. God really help blacks.

A black man will collect a contract of 1 billion to tard a road, believe me he will only spend about 300mil. and the rest will go into his swizz account. If a casting was supposed to use 10 bags of cement as seen on the qoutation submitted, they end up using 4 bags. This i have witnessed myself and when the agency to investigate the contract arrive, they quickly take them to somewhere private and hand them a brown envelope, and that's the end. We are actually our own problem

You seem to know everything about the Lifestyle of Most Typical Nigerians.

Afterall they will visit the Churches and Mosques to do Testimony.

The Stupid Corrupted Alfas and Pastors too will welcome them with wide open Arms not bothering to ask or Investigate their sudden proceeds.

But being biased to a particular way of thinking won't make people understand that two or more things can be true at the same time. I'm afraid it may take up to next three generations for Nigeria to get to Europe level.... Because dirty rough environment is "normal" in our psyche. Most people don't see anything wrong with it.

Look at market women, their environment is always dirty. Or maybe Nigerians don't like patronizing shops in neat environment cos they think dirty environment traders are cheaper... I don't know which one.

Either way a lot of people will have to die off before things can change here. Look at those iron scavenger boys... You install rail guards for bridges and next morning they have stolen it. Or shitting in newly built classroom blocks... Things like that.

There are even people that remove drainage covers to use as step for their homes

It’s a spiritual problem. You have to understand that while we are all humans but yet humans are created in 2 polarities. There is the north polarity humans aka caucasians and then there is the south polarity humans aka black peoples . Every other race on the planet is just spectating . The cosmic war by the creators of the universe is between the black and the white race. So when one is up the other has to be down. They can’t both be up at the same time . So the frequency of information is allocated to one side , that frequency only syncs with Caucasian souls and that frequency programs your soul to reason like a first world citizen and increases your IQ and makes you very creative and innovative. However this frequency of information is put on a time clock which coincides with when the royal star ingresses into another house, usually about 2000 plus years after which that frequency of information runs out and then the minds of the people of that race regresses back into the dark ages and from then on till their first world infrastructure collapses and decays is another 200 years after which they start building haphazardly like primitive third wold people with no structure or arrangement. And so what you see with negros took 2000 years to get to that level of decay and haphazard building structure and primitive lifestyle after we lost that frequency of information. However we happen to be living at an important time . That royal star ingressed in 2012 meaning the white man has lost that frequency of information. What you have now is a weird concoction of devolved Neanderthal dark ages mindset in the midst of first world infrastructure but give the white man another 100 years and all his countries would have fully devolved to 3rd class status because AS ABOVE SO BELOW meaning you can only give what you have. If your mind has devolved to animal like state it’s only a matter of time before your environment starts looking like a pigsty
