I'm starting to believe recently that we actually do have a low IQ!

We need a IQ test, Anyone whose IQ is below 100 should not be allowed close to governance!!

We can't be living like this in this modern day

IQ is not the problem. Nigeria is driven by a mammon god. This is why it is quite difficult to have lengthy conversations with people without the subject of money coming up. Everyone is propelled by the desire to accumulate as much money for themselves thereby foregoing the needs of the general society.

Think about it. Nigerians worship money and that is our problem.

For Nigeria to have beautiful and organised cities, the right to build structures or buy land must be remove from individuals. Real Estate or construction companies should be the only organisations mandated by law to do so. Flexible Mortgage system must be introduce by banks, government and other financial houses. We are just wasting spaces in the name of building individuals houses, a single condo can accommodate a whole street in some localities. Would it not make sense if 50 people buy a flat each in a building than making useless structures on 50 plots of land or more. No individual or family should be allow to own more than 3 bedroom apartment or duplex if you are rich enough.

By this development, it will be very easy for investors to invest in a massive modern buildings and condos. This will also curb corruption to a greater extent as most of the loots are being spent on properties.

For those harping on IQ, please understand that IQ is not static but depends on the environment and the standard of living one is exposed to. Once upon a time the Chinese were thought of as people with very low IQs, but today they are judged as those with one of the highest in the planet no thanks to their industrial revolution.

So no, IQ is not our problem, mammon is. The love of money...

I've been to 15 states in Nigeria my whole life, and one thing I always notice is, Untarred roads, Lack of drainage system, Lack of proper planning e.t.c

Which always make me curious, Why does everywhere in Nigeria look like it got hit by a nuclear bomb? Why? Why don't we have modern streets and cities!!

Since the inception of Nigeria, I Don't think we have built any city, And please don't even mention Banana island, It's a piece of crap!!

It's sad that only about 3% of Nigeria is actually developed and the other 97% is just straight up piece of trash!!

Nigerians seem to prefer their streets and environment this way, research Nyesom Wike Abuja plans pushback. Nigeria is hostage to the needs of the poor. Nigerians believe that the poor need to breath open gutter and rubbish-tip air .

Lol I’ve always said this. The Asians learned and picked it up so quick. Hell even the Middle East after all the war is actually looking decent now. I think we’re lazy. The most embarrassing is the way I’ve seen us act in the airport in Lagos. Like this is an international airport with no working ac the airport officials bribing people for money. It’s so embarrassing. Other races that come just don’t say anything out of pity but it’s really really embarrassing.

The airport is the most embarrassing aspect of the whole thing

In my opinion. Nigerians also have destructive mindset and shortcut mindset. Go to Ojodu berger, they refused to use the pedestrian bridge and Instead the destroyed the steel barricades that prevented people from crossing the road on highway just because of short cut. Is that how developed countries behave?

Yes @ the bolded so they, "Abroad," invented Police ,policing and legal systems. Nigeria's law and order industry is underdeveloped so people in Nigeria are not socialised by fear of the system to conform to acceptable norms .

It's terrible, the mindset is always how to win elections and make the losers suffer. What kind of archaic thinking is that? But when they are sick they will let another tribe treat them. Disgusting things.

Everyone knows exactly what they are doing. So keep voting your kind of good politicians, while the developed countries vote in sensible leaders.

1. We don't collect enough in tax or 80% of government revenue won't be oil

2.We also earn enough oil revenue to make a country that has less than 10m look nice. Not a country of 220 million people.

3.And like I always say, we have to change our economy. And stop corruption.

I have repeated no 3 several times on this thread, yet you guys don't read.

I've read all your comments and you just keep hammering on taxes and taxes . And I'm asking this ?
1. what happened to the VAT, income taxes being paid civil and private workers ? Hope you know that Nurtw and Acomoran generate insane revenue to each state and the state governors takes the largest share?

Do you know that even vulcanizers , market women and co pay levy/tax through their associations.?... Where do you expect the over 30% unemployed to pay taxes from ? what are the effects of the FIRS and state inland revenue service have been collecting. Can you boldly beat your chest to say that they're being channelled to the right source ?

2.How much exactly does the state and federal ministry of works actually use to execute projects ... we all know more than half are padded, and even the project funds still change hands ( clear example is Ganduje )

3. How much was spent on the sham Nigeria Air project... A quick Google search will show you that . What happened to those who did it ? Nothing

3. With Crude oil, coal, gold, tin , lepidolite , lithium and hundred others ( many of all these that are being traded in large quantities illegally DAILY) , you're telling me that a country rich in all these cannot construct good roads and well planned cities because of tax ? .... C'mon now c'mon

4. How many white elephant projects were executed during the last 8 years alone ,let's not even begin to talk about since democracy.

5.How much is being used to renovate the national assembly currently and let's not even look into that budget at all and the ridiculous allowances each so called lawmaker takes home.

There are many reasons this country is the way it is and I can assure you tax is the "least of the least" of them ... pick up your calculator and start doing the maths , billions of dollars lost every month due to the fact that we keep electing useless leaders due to our tribalism and silly religious brainwashing .

Let's not make silly excuses for failure and please try to be honest too and say things as they are

The problem with black is lack of collective will.

The collective will is how wall of Jericho was built. The collective will is let us build a tower that reach heaven. The tower of Babel. Those things are the collective will blacks do not have.

When some of them begins to proper or get rich they oppressed one another and destroy people preserve to have bright star.

The history of the black race is not very interesting or educative like the other race. Modernization is been forced on us as it was never part of us and reasons we are finding it difficult.

A woman traveled to America on a visitor's visa. She was taken out on a sight seeing trip.

They were driving on I-75 Highway in North Dallas when the woman sighed and said, "na wa oh, everybody just dey drive New cars here..." the driver replied: "you can buy any car of your choice by credit facility.."

The woman exclaimed and said: " how then do you distinguish the rich from the poor?" The man replied: "you can't know by their cars because anyone with a job can buy anything on credit and pay monthly to maintain a good quality of life."

The woman said - to her shame - "I can't live in this country where everybody is equal."

The story above depicts the mental frame of many black people who grow up in Africa.

God and angels have very little regard, if any, for the black race in Africa.
The thing is that if I keep talking about how bad we Africans are, this whole thread won't contain what I will say, we Africans are our own enemies not the whites or any race, we Africans are our own enemies. even After more than 6 decades since when the British left Nigeria, we still haven't gotten it right at all. we are still backward and left behind.

You actually spewed facts. True, black people are so disorganized and self-centred that They would rather have their fellow men beg for crumbs than to see them prosper and self sufficient. Such society would find it relatively much difficult to progress. To be able to measure up to the other races we first have to work on our mindsets 🙂

Take a look at your fingers, are they equal.

Go through that picture of a wedding you were at the last time, you can see different individuals of varying heights.

Same way, in a class of students, there are the top students and bottom.

Life and the universe we know is not designed to have everything in it uniform.

This principles also applies to the human race where it seems like the Whites/South-East Asians are leading in science, technology and development while the black race is still struggling to provide 24 hours electricity.

Yes, we have a low I.Q and reasoning, still leave like animals and behind everyone else.

I don't see it as something you overthink neither is it your fault that you belong to the species with the lowest brain capacity.

It's just one of those life mysteries we cannot solve: nothing on earth or the universe is meant to be the same, equal, uniform, operating at the same capacity thanks to a number of factors.

Just my theory.
