According to James Wan, there was no need to cut her screen time, because the story isn't really about her but rather of Orm and Aquaman.

Make it make sense. It's been stated for a while that she was going to remain in the film.
And stop talking crap. She ain't playing any major role in the movie as she won't get more than 10mins (probably 7 mins sef). It's more about a bromance story between Orm and Arthur.

I don't know man but I feel Amber Heard wouldn't impact it as much as we might think in relation to Ezra's issues.
She's not the lead. If they can smartly just find a bigger supporting actress in the movie, pushing Nicole Kidman in the forefront, then we might suppress AH toxicity. Also remember she also has some ultra fans with pushbacks who supports her in her Johnny Depp issue. Unlike Miller that's mainly very few DC fans in support.

Do not underestimate the charm of Momoa and his appeal to women. grin grin No big blockbuster challenge asides WB films. The first had tough blockbuster competition but decimated them all. This one has little challenge from Wonka.
Anyways, if Aquaman 2 performs poorly at the BO, the biggest beneficiary I see is WONKA. Still, the money goes to WB.
