I checked dynadot, the domain was available but I only have $3+ on my grey card.

30mins after I'm ready to buy the domain, I checked and the company "Roysmithplumbing" has registered their domain.

Maybe I would have had at least $99 from the name.

Try to keep/save 10-20$ on your dynadot "prepay" ... This would save you from such experiences... Good luck!

definitely the old owner renewed it before the grace period was about to expire or someone else bought it from auctions. . Name was registered since 2017 so definitely not a dropped domain.

Yes. Namesilo is not new in the industry or to Dan.

Same way other registrars work. Just switch to Ns1 and Ns2 dot Dan dot com and leave the third nameserver column empty.

Don't be sore. Not all Exact match buy names. Even when listed for $100. Their online presence isn't that great. And clearly they aren't making the effort to improve it. They have poor or average google rating. It seems they don't care much about their online rep.
