That pay slip is erroneous... It should be corrected please many that are not on pension scheme received 112k as if they are on the scheme.

Promotion starts from the last promotion date to July 2022. So some persons will enjoy three or even four promotions while others will enjoy two depending on your effective date.

If your last promotion's effective date is July 2010 for instance, you will receive promotions for July 2013, July 2016, July 2019 and July 2022. That means four times promotion. This is for teachers who were employed in June 2007.

If your last promotion's effective date is January 2011 for instance, you will receive promotions for January 2014, January 2017 and January 2020. That means three times promotion. This is for teachers who were employed in December 2007.

For teachers who were employed in August 2013 for instance, you will receive promotions for January 2017, January 2020 and January 2023. That means three times promotion. 2013 teachers were suppose to only enjoy two times promotion since the promotion exercise ends on July 2022, but the Executive Chairman of UBE Board instructed all the SDs to include January 2023 for them so they can enjoy three promotions. So you guys should be grateful to the Board Chairman for his benevolence towards you. Those of us employed in December 2007 didn't enjoy that benevolence that's why ours stopped at January 2020 which now keeps us on Level 13 instead of Level 14. But those employed in June 2007 were fortunate to reach Level 14 because their effective date fell on July 2022.

So all those employed in December 2007, don't bother making any case. You are currently placed on Level 13 and not 14 because the exercise as instructed by the state government ends on July 2022 which didn't capture your Level 14 promotion. You will be due Level 14 when the next promotion which will cover January 2023 begins. I don't know when that will happen.

I thought promotion is supposed to be due every 3 years beginning from the date of employment? How come the first promotion for 2013 employees is supposed to occur in January 2017?

If we assume now and accept that promotions in Rivers State civil Service occurs only in January following the respective promotion year, then why was it stated in the write-up that the last promotion was supposed to end in July, 2022? Why July?

pls this info is wrong. No transfer list at ube, someone just confirmed it. Rather they may send transfer list to the various LGAs

I was talking to a principal of a school today, he told me in confidence that we may likely not be paid the new salary this month. That they were asked to submit and sign the old voucher. I also talked with someone else at the office of the Head of service and he said same, that we may not considering we don't have a constituted board.
Pls who has a different information? Since then, my mood has not been the same.
If you are close to your own principal, can you confirm what is actually going on.

There is mass transfer of the teachers in UBE Pls confirm well.

I don't blame some of you who talk carelessly here for reasons known to you. I am a teacher in SSSB and the person who told me is a principal. I said ask you principals. Have you asked your principal what he or she submitted, what did your principal tell you? It foolishness of you to think anyone here is anti new salary. Informations are giving for people to verify. The man told me that he signed and submitted old voucher instead of you to verify from your school principal, you are here talking as if your payment depends on our informations here. Is a pity how some of you reason. Use evidence counter a claim and not mere sympathy comments.
