lol bro do people have to complain to you before you know their plight ? And yes a few people are complaining lol. I posted the video of an optimistic guy , I would look for the video, who promised his mother he would not be like his brother who had been abroad for 30 years and has never come home , and that she should not worry that after 1 year he would return and come and buy her house, 8 years later the guy is in YouTube crying that he does not have papers yet and he hasn’t seen his mother since then and he couldn’t fulfill that promise. Please if anyone can find that video post it here. People are complaining bro. Question is are yyouu listening ?
He should stop crying. In this life, there are so many things you don't have control over. You try the best you can.

Just ignore the guy. He's among the failed generation of Nigerians who went to UK in the 90s and early 2000s to date white girls and oppress those at home with fine pictures.

Asians that came same time in the 90s have bought the whole of UK.
Go to any private schools in UK, they are filled with Indians and not even whites.
The Indian landlord of my former church own all the buildings on that street, up to 18 houses.
In fact those guys are done with houses now. They are now buying care homes and hotels in the uk, they then import their Indians into the country to work in the hotels and care home.
These Asians guys came into UK with nothing.

What I will never understand is what exactly were Nigerians doing same time these Asians were doing the hard work and buying up everywhere.

Black man has a long way to go. The way we lack vision at home is same outside the country.
Very pessimistic and negative in thinking.
I swear useless fellow his mentality is too low that's why they are always poor..

Dont travel abroad if you are doing well at home. Its only good for sapa people.
It tough to make money in abroad.

Recently I often use uber in the night. I discussed with the drivers how far.
They said in any day they desire good money, they have to drive for fourteen to sixteen hours that day.
They said money from eight hours drive is only enough to pay bills.

Abroad is tough.
It is tough - it has its own kind of toughness same as anywhere in life. One will be chewed, spit out, you stand up, clean up and carry on.

Are you saying that if people migrate legally to uk, they can’t leave for another decade because of papers?

I think you must be referring to illegal migration. In that case fix your topic to match the real issue.
I don’t believe a legal migrant to uk can’t come and go as they please or can afford to
going by the word JAPA that woRD means TO ESCAPE. nowhere in the word is the mode of escape qualifiEd as LEGAL or ILLEGAL 🤣

So the topic is valid

Hi Sukkot, someone up there just encouraged some of us who wish to relocate to Canada. If I enter Canada through proper channels of work permit and provincial nominee program, do you think I have anything to worry about??
oh Canada is great if you are on sapa street in naija but it sucks if your life is great in naija. If you are enjoying life in naija, gated estate, 24 7 electricity, money to spend, car, nice girlfriend, etc etc you will hate Canada . But if na sapa levels you dey for naija then you can manage boring Canada 🤣

work visa and study visa are two different things. On work visa you need to live and work there for 5 years to qualify for permanent stay. For study visa too you must work in uk legally for 5 years to qualify for ILR
So you can stay in UK legally 4 years after your study(study visa in this case)?

I don't know where you people live in UK...5k pounds is nothing if you work as a PM in London even some care workers make 5k in a month
bro in the UK 5000 pounds is a lot. The average british person has less than 1000 pounds in their accounts. So stop talking through your anus

I have been on Nairaland for quite awhile and this dude Sukkot is one of the most pitiful people I’ve ever come across on this forum. He always sound depressed I guess it’s owing to his failure in his sojourn abroad. People that behave this way are mostly people that were either deported or were miserable and feel the system rigged them out. We have millions of people doing well abroad but he only chooses the stories of those not doing well to fuel his frustration.God forbid I have this kind of people around me.
I am doing very well. Stop typing through your anus. The reality on the ground is that more Nigerians abrroad aree illegal than legal

Leave abroad people alone. Leave those who wants to seek greener pasture elsewhere alone.

Live your own life in Nigeria.

he probably hasn’t left Nigeria or he failed in the abroad despite been born there so can’t stand people coming to succeed in same place
whats your definition of failed in the abroad ? Because from the way you speak it’s obvious you are just abroad physically but mentally you are still a primitive thinking 3rd worlder. Now that’s my definition of a failure abroad. Still the same odious bushman irritating the good white folks of Canada with your odious isale eko mentality 🤣

Don't you think living life independently is good?
Too much emotional tie is something that is stiff to us black people ?

He is abroad pursuing life maybe with wifey and kids. Why worry about the parents in Nigeria ? If he is taking care of them, what else do you want him to do ?
So he shouldn't grow up at some point and fly away ?

Sukkot- Sukkot - Sukkot, how many times did I call you ?
grin
and I get where you are coming from but when it gets to sweet mama you gotta reconnect to source . You can’t disconnect from source. 😳😄
