A high-level source at @thenff tells me that the federation is yet to sign a new contract with @NGSuper_Falcons @CoachWaldrum.

“Randy was to have concluded a new contract at a meeting with the NFF President, the head of the technical committee and @coacheguavoen, the technical director, after he had come to Nigeria for the WAFCON 2024 qualifier against Sao Tome.

“But as Sao Tome pulled out, Randy didn’t come. A Zoom meeting to conclude discussions was the fallback plan. But as they have all gone to Cairo for the AFCON bid, no one seems to be talking about it again.

“We don’t seem to be organised at all,” the source said. “We are just doing things anyhow, no planning, no organisation. I hope we don’t mess this up, because Randy has options. And the next WAFCON qualifier and the Olympic qualifiers are around the corner.”

Waldrum’s current contract ends in October.

Hmmmm… 🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️

Edna Imade is going to be a problem for many defenses this year. Great signing for Granada

Nigeria youngster Imade Edna is presently one of the most talked about player in Spanish women's football League

The 22yrs old forward made a big break with Cacereno scoring 11 goals before joining newly promoted Spanish top-flight side Granada in August.

The Nigerian forward scored her first goal on debut for Granada to seal their shock 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad.

Imade's latest strike follows a hat-trick in Granada 4-1 trashing over Racing Santander in the CopaDe LaReina a week ago.

She has now scored four goals in two competitive matches.

Okay Guy’s I think it’s time we Keep an eye on Edna Imade, She’s just 22yrs let’s see what she has to offer..!

Which strikers you don too get?
Oparanozie has retired.
Oshoala is getting old and is injury prone
Monday is now a left back
Onumonu blows hot and cold

With this girl, who is built like a tank (she reminds me of Paruello - same speed, build, guile and left foot) as well as Babajide, you have two good options to fill the gap.
Exciting!

Monday has played like 1 game this season so calling her a fullback is wild. We also have Esther Okoronkwo, Anam Imo, Ihezuo, Juliet Sunday and even Mercy Omokwo. I see no problem with the girl u guys are talking about getting a shot but that doesn't mean we are suddenly out of options.

We don too get Attackers for my sentence nor mean say she nor fit come in ooo, Her games that have seen now she has played from the Right Flank and the Center, Scored one superb goal against Sevilla during this past Pre-season tournament….

What draw me to her game wasn’t even her goal Scoring sef, but the Speed I saw is something we can utilize as Ordega is on the Off now… She runs like Zambia 🇿🇲 Racheal Kundananji, I’m still trying to figure out the quickest among their two… Again she has this touch of Bullish in her too just like Kundananji just that she’s better with the ball at her feet..

Noooo, Na Spain Born ooo

Realized that when I watched the link AkinDS posted.

I asked cause most of the sites online recognize her as Nigerian which typically isn't the case for players born or raised abroad.

Also, I stand corrected (cause I don't understand Spanish) but from the little I could gather it doesn't seem like she was born in Spain. It's likely Morocco or somewhere in transit during her parent's sojourn to Europe.

I agree it's too early to determine where Monday will play, but with the myriad of choice the coach has at his disposal it's very likely LB will be her position this season (I hope not). The flip side is if Rinsola is adjudged to be ineffective, then Monday will be moved higher, but really do not see her function as a forward considering she wasn't even considered for the position last season too. I really would prefer to see Monday in that CF position but we'll see how it goes.

Also on the new girlz I think Akin was drawing a parallel between the aforementioned as the girl in question, more like a "like for like" thing. Save for Juliet Sunday and Mercy Omokwo, the others at some point have been given a chance to make a case for themselves (I concede they need to get more play time before we make conclusions on them). Wasn't particularly impressed with Ihezuo and really do not think she's Super Falcons material. I see her and Vivian Ikechukwu in the same light. (I'll be happy if they prove me wrong). I'll like to see more of Anam Imo, Esther's body frame just wouldn't suffice to make her a top consideration for that position. She'll do better as a sub in my opinion.

Stop including okorokwo among our strikers, she's not a striker and she has never strike for falcons , the strikers we have right now Oshoala and onumonu

Esther is now what? Esther Okoronkwo Plays the 3 position upfront for both Club and Country…
During 2022 WAFCON qualifiers against CIV she and Onumonu rotated the No.9 position switching positions among themselves and she always delivers with Assist or Goal..

Which match did Esther ever start as a starting striker ? It's normal she will find herself in the striking role in a match but the fact is she wasn't the striker in that match

Pace, power and packs a shot. And she's only 22!

Don't know what Anam Imo has to offer.
She was touted as the next best thing under Dennerby. She and Rash went to Scandinavia and played in the WC. We all have seen who clearly has been on the upward trajectory since then. Rash has moved on to bigger and exciting things, while she is still in Scandinavia.

She is slow and just isn't an exciting player - that's why she has been under the radar. To me, she is in the same class as Ihezuo. Nothing inspiring. There are other exciting players to focus on, please.

Please don’t say this about Anam IMO she has improved so well far ahead of Chinwendu Ihezuo, just that Randy haven’t really looked her way.. Again the Swedish league is number one among the Scandinavians…

Please watch Pitea IF games before drawing all this Conclusion.. Again Anam IMO is currently the top Scorer of the Swedish Women’s League with 14goals and 6 assists in 19games this season and she is not Slow..

Still in the Scandinavian league doesn’t necessarily mean she isn’t good enough to move elsewhere, Anam IMO right now is good enough to start or come from the bench for the SuperFalcons as she can Play any of the positions upfront…
I believe you’re judging from her past performance which I know too well that she has improved greatly…

With Desire Oparanozie retired and Franny Ordega past her Prime IMO have all it takes to get a Spot in the attacking set up.. please do create time and watch their League Matches before making ur Conclusions.
