From where did the Israelites go into Slavery in Egypt? Where was Moses born? Wasn't he a Jew? Was Jesus Christ not born in Nazareth? Didn't the city of Nazareth exist? Make it make sense! Israelites has always been a stiff necked People who disobeyed God so much but God loved them and chose them. They spent so many years in slavery due to their sins in Egypt before Moses brought them back. It was famine that drove them from into Egypt and they went by foot. After they left Egypt God promised them the whole of Cannan, Gaza, Jordan, Ashkelon, Lebanon, upnorth towards Syria and all this places were already inhabited by people. Palestine/Philistine was also a city near Israel and remember they flee when David killed Goliath. They spent 40 years in the wilderness instead of 40 days journey back home due to their unbelief in God. They kept circling Sinai for that 40 years as a punishment. It was the Children of the Israelites that left Egypt that finally entered into Canaan. Those that originally left Egypt all died in the wilderness. Then Moses led this young Israelites into war to possess some of the lands, Joshua led the young camp of Israelites, they didn't completely possess all the lands before Moses died, Joshua and Caleb continued well into Jordan over the rivers Tigris and Euphrates. God commanded them to kill all the people they met they and possess those lands as He has given it to them as an inheritance. They failed to do this but instead lived together with them. They eventually didn't claim all the lands as well before they went into slavery in Babylon (Iraq). While they were in Iraq their land was possessed by Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Gazzites, Cannanites, Philistines/Palestines and so many other people in those settlement. From Babylon they were scattered abroad. That's why there are Jewish communities all over the World, so if you claim Israel never existed then Babylon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Jordan, Lebanon never existed as well. God promised to bring them back and as at today only few are back into Present day Israel. Those who came back so that the whole land was occupied. Jerusalem is the main heart of Israel which was now occupied by philistines/Palestine, what were you expecting them to do? Till today Israel is yet to fully recover Jerusalem as it's supposed to be the capital city. So I don't understand what you mean by Palestine being host to Israel. Palestine are the ones occupying Israelis land and wouldn't vacate as well. Israel had to take that small part by force and then started expanding gradually. Palestine should have accepted the two state solution offered by UN. The whole the middle East know the land truly belongs to Israel because t they are life long enemies with Israel even before the existence of Christianity and Islam. Jesus Christ was a Jew not christian, he read scrolls in the Synagogues which were mainly the Old testament which is what Jews practice. The followers of Christ started Christianity after the ascension of Jesus Christ and many Israelites never believed in Jesus while He was on Earth, they killed Him and even after Ascension the Pharisees and Saducees which is a sect in Judaism still didn't accept Christ. But the disciples spread the Gospel of Christ and made converts in Israel and more outside of Israel. Who are the Gentiles? All this while there was nothing like Islam yet so for you to say it's a religious war that's going today is very wrong. Islam came out of the lineage of Ishmael. And they spread Islam by violence, converted Egypt and all those Arab countries. Christianity is very minute in the middle East but popular in America, Asia, Europe and Africa. Apostle Paul, a Jew himself who persecuted and killed thousands of Christians brought the Gospel of Christ to every continent of the world and is regarded as the greatest Evangelist. What you have going on between Israel and Palestine and the whole of the middle East, has always been even far into Asia minor (Turkey). It's nothing religious. Today there are Muslims and Christians in both Israel and Palestine. Jews are still spread abroad in North and South America, Europe, Asia and some parts of middle East and Africa.
America owes it greatness to Jews, Jews are the frontiers of discoveries, science and technology. Same as in Asia (Japan, Korea, China) in Europe as well in Germany, Russia and the likes. America can't do without Israel, infact they are so intertwined America can't do without them as they're the brain behind America's greatness, which is why they are always concerned about the well being of Israel. As for religion do you want to tell me Egypt has always been a Muslim country? Or Syria or Turkey or Lebanon? No! Religion is foreign and adopted, same way it's in Africa.

Is Gaza better today than it was on Saturday morning?

Israel is not against a two state solution but hamas want Israel to pack their load and just vacate the middle East or get slaughtered.
