Lack of chemistry knowledge. Most of them talking those things were art students.

God, how did you give me a heart that is different from most of my country people? I will be concerned about the financial loss of the owner of the commodity instead of carrying bucket to scope from it

If things were the way they suppose to be, people will not endanger their lives by engaging in such a dangerous activity.
I weep for Nigeria.
I beg to disagree.. This isn't the about current situation of Nigeria

Nigerians are just filled with greed.. Even if the economy is very friendly, people will still endanger their lives to scoop fuel in a fallen tanker

Even in the 90s people were still doing this nonsense

Residents were observed cheerfully scooping fuel from a toppled tanker along Otedola Bridge in Lagos State. This is both bewildering and deeply concerning.

Do they not realize the inherent dangers of this activity, or is it a result of extreme poverty that has led them to disregard safety precautions? This behavior is hazardous and should be strongly condemned.

That is not petrol, that is diesel.

In a sane working country, whenever such happens, the area is quickly safeguarded and barricaded with hazard warning⚠️ tapes to avoid gaining entrance by the law enforcement persons...👌

When such happens here, the so called enforcers of the law would disappear, Miscreants would invade the scene to scoop whatever.. ☹️

Many wrongs here in this country😔

What an hazardous risk they are taking. I mean all of them could die at once which is crazy. But the truth is, nobody cares anymore.

Are people that really impoverished to the point that they no longer care if they live or die!!! I blame those who voted for buhari and tinubu

They're so impoverished they don't know where there next meal will come from. That is what bad governance does.
