Perfect arrangement, coming into the second game none of CIV and Nigeria would have qualified, so there would be no holds barred. We have the pool of players capable of winning any match with any country in the world.
What we seem to lack are the brains required to design good wins.
While i will admit some positives about Peseiro, he seems to lack the cutting edge.
Even though we appear more tactically drilled under Peseiro, but he is yet to truly impress me in a way that can inspire real hope.

Going into AFCON 2023, our chances of qualifying from the group stage is 50:50. I am a confirmed optimist, but to achieve good results we have to face facts. We may stand a better chance in the offing, but as things stands Jose Peseiro has not really shown that he has what it takes to lead us to glory with the quality of talents available to him.

I will speak further on this after the friendly matches with S. Arabia and Mozambique.

We are talking about the possibility of winning our fourth AFCON and someone is talking about not making it out of group stage.
This is not a world cup group with Argentina, na African cup of nations

The Super Eagles already have 2 WCQ games scheduled for November 2023 so the possibility of squeezing in a third game is kinda slim or not feasible.

But I would really have loved to come up against this "in-form" Blue Samurais side. A fine solid test, they would be for Jose Peseiro.
