Enyeama was directly responsible for goals against Korea(2010), France(2014), Ghana(2010 ANC)...
So it's nothing new.

As it stands, uzoho and Okoye cannot make the Super Falcons team!
True to God, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Tochukwu Oluehi are better than these boys and I'm not trolling.

Over the years, these meaningless friendlies should have been used to try goalkeepers from the league.

There was a Super 6 tournament some months ago, you can't seriously tell me that not one goalkeeper is better than Uzoho. Something must be wrong with anybody who says that.

There is Stanley Nwabili at Chippa. He was one of the best while at Lobi Stars. He has something like 5 cleans sheets in 9 games in South Africa, Why can't they look his way?

This fixation on uzoho is just because he was at some point 3rd choice at Deportivo lacarona. If he had started from Abia Warriors he won't be here.
right now he's second choice in Cyprus league ๐Ÿ˜‘

Are you forgetting Enyeama blunders at the world cup.
The videos are there on YouTube if u were too young to watch those matches..
He literally guarded the ball to Pogba's head for an open goal.
Just like Uzoho yesterday Enyeama was never good at setpieces

Uzoho is a bad goalkeeper what he did yesterday was not a mistake, he is not just good only good goalkeepers do mistakes

Our chances of winning the Afcon is 10% with someone like Uzoho

Chiamaka is the best female goalie in Africa if not the world. She's so good. In our match against England, after England player pounced on a defender's failure to clear a back pass, the way Chiamaka sprang like Amalinze the Cat ehn. She's so sharp. Not blunt hands like Uzoho and Okoye.

Uzoho go dunk ball enter our net like prime LeBron James. Chai
Australia and Canada would have beaten the Falcons if Uzoho played ahead of Nnadozie in those games.

Infact, with Uzoho in goal, we will get out of the Afcon group due to our relative superiority over Guinea. But you see that round of 16? I fancy us getting knocked out. Jose Peseiro will loose his job and the next manager will come on board and recycle uzoho and Okoye again.

I am honestly beginning to think Uzoho is been mischievous in goal for Super Eagles, he virtually scores goals into his own net or allow weak shot sail in between his legs into the net. The earlier we discard him and grow an homemade goalkeeper in the mould of Bendel Insurance, Rivers United or Remo stars goalkeeper the better for our chances in the afcon.
With Uzoho, Adeleye or Okoye and all their previous shenanigans in post, we might not see the quarter final.

Good match up yesterday. I thought the team just about did well enough to earn a win unfortunately a last minute error torpedoed that all the same good work out. Here are my thoughts on the game.

The Positives

1. We created lots of chances. Yes we were very wasteful but I'm happy with the loads of opportunities we created to score. Now it's just to work on improving our conversion rate.

2. Our attacking depth came to the fore. Despite losing Osimhen to injury and Boniface being withdrawn our replacements including Sadiq, Moffi, KC and Simon were able to keep up the attacking momentum.

3. Boniface was on point loved his skill and guile. He brings another dimension to our forward line. Took his goal well hope it's not true that it was chalked up as an own goal.

4. Ndidi was in his element today probably his best game in the SE shirt. Loved his sharp passing and his contributions to our attacking transitions. Still got stuck in when he needed to. MoTM performance for me.

5. Osayi is the undisputed first choice for RB.

6. Senior man always a goal threat in the absence of Osimhen. Playing just behind the main striker looks like his best position for now.

7. Bruno again did well in the LB position. Decent cover or competition for Zaidu.

8. Moses Simon did well added quality lacking in our areas wing play.

9. Sadiq put in a decent shift. Missed a sitter (though he looked offside) but generally considered liked the way he kept our attack going after Boniface was subbed.

The Negatives

1. Uzoho I mean what more can one say that hasn't been said before. I commend JP for not throwing Francis under the bus during the post match interviews but he has to boldly choose another goalie. I'm not asking for the second coming of Buffon or Cech. Just someone who will do the basics right and not concede silly goals

2. We're not winning anything with a Bassey and Ajayi CB partnership. This is not an opinion but a statement of fact. Semi doesn't give me the vibe of a solid defender that won't crumble in the heat of battle. Calvin with come good in time but he needs an experienced hand beside him. Who that is I honestly don't know.

3. Tyrone did fairly well but tired out in the second half. Osayi and Aina are way ahead of Ebuehi as far as their performances have been in the LB position and is unlikely to make the squad to next year's AFCON unless one of the top two guys gets injured during that is period.

4. The decision making of Lookman and Chukwueze especially was annoying to watch. It was so bad a times that I really wondered if Samuel is best friends with Osimhen because the number of times he ignored him instead of giving him a simple pass was baffling. Ademola's lukewarm displays are no longer looking cute. He needs to step up his performances.

5. Iwobi hustled and battled his way but the CM position isn't just cut out for him. Alex creativity is needed much higher up the pitch.

6. 4-4-2 is not the way to good. Midfield is left over worked and thin. At a point in the second half the Saudis had a 10 minute spell where they ran us ragged and almost completely play us off the park. Better teams with more talented players could have used that period to kill us off.

7. Lack of game management ultimately cost the team a deserved win. In the last minutes of the match instead of being pragmatic our players were still pouring forward. In the end it was the turn over from one of those last minute attacks the Saudi used to win the freekick which they scored from.

8. Osimhen's injury dampened things a bit hope it's not too serious.

9. This is a criticism not based on the game but I think Ndidi's reaction to Uzoho after conceding that goal wasn't the best. Wilfred is looking like a future substantive captain of the SE which means he will have to inspire or encourage his teammates especially when they play nonsense. We the fans can be critical but Ndidi has a duty to look out for his fellow teammate.

Overall there were positives in the game to hang on to but the negatives if not addressed will seriously dent our chances of going far in next year's competition let alone winning it.

Super Eagles have not won a friendly match in Fifteen attempts (15)

The last time the team won a friendly match was back in March 2019 against Egypt.
We keep doing the same thing that has kept us in this mess.

You're right, JP has nothing to do with the outcome of that match, we stringed passes together all around the pitch, he started a deadly (on paper) lineup, we created several chances (which we used to struggle at in the past), He did his job.

All I'm waiting for is his next step in getting rid of the loopholes like booting Uzoho out, getting Chukweze a customized bench, realize that sadiq has no business in the team (guy is low quality... He hasn't really impressed. How on earth can you miss such ball even unmarked and call yourself a striker.

A deleye should be in goal next match all through for a stern test because he's the most promising and a potential first choice in AFCON. And also comb the local league for good backups.

We're seriously missing Ikeme
According to Basco's video, Sodick was offside for the missed chance. Why is no one lambasting Lukmon for trying the scorpion kick from Osimhen's cross when Boniface was waiting to volley the ball into an empty net? What about Victor O. ballooning the ball in the next yard from a sweet Bruno cross and Chuk's own too grin my point is no be only SorDick, others too miss their own.

The local league has always been the breeding ground for sound SE goalkeepers (Carl Ikeme was an exception).I hope someone hints this to JP.

football be like side hustle to Uzoho and Maduka. ..the former plays badminton while the later is a full-time model.

JP should have invited an in-form Akor Adams, Sadiq Umar aside from his clumsy foot football has yet to settle at his club after his injury, his invitation was just weird...or was his invitation influenced by some higher-ups to fulfill a Northern quota? This should be the last we see of him in the NT- he should join the league of the Onuachu's, Dessers etc as deadweights.

JP should have subbed in either of Onyedika or Onyeka to kill off the game rather than sub in a div 2 match rusty Aribo who in all honesty has no place in this team for now, the likes of Fisayo Dele Bashiru, Nwakali/Folorunsho should and must be considered ahead of him. All this lame sentiments of calling up deadweights is costing us big time, Aribo's rustiness showed today when he caused a needless foul on the Saudi player in a very dangerous position- worse of all in the dying minutes of a game we had comfortably managed.

Nathan Tella has to be called up in place of Chukwueze, I can stand the nonchalant behavior of Chukwueze anymore, I underpinned his unseriousness when he opted for a brainless and wayward curve shot rather than pass to an open team mate who only had the gaping net at his mercy, Chukwueze had the audacity to smile like one star boy who fluffed a moment of magic...bench this clown or drop him for good.

Ademola Lookman smh, I'll hold out on some hope that maybe he's better suited as a support striker or CAM in a 352 formation (he does well playing those positions for Atalanta), cause he's honestly a waste of space on the wings. Peseiro has to get creative and switch the position of these players, the beauty of football is in its dynamism.

Bruno Onyemaechi is a revelation in that RB position, I love his game

Osayi Bright is a solid fu*king baller, fluid and brilliant in attacking as well.

With Bruno, Osayi, Aina and Zaidu our full-back depth looks solid. I like Ebuehi but his drop-off in form isn't a good look, maybe because Empoli has been awful this season cause he was one of their best players last season.

Bassey is solid

Ajayi is entering that league of deadweights like Ekong etc, we need to see what Igoh Ogbu and Jordan Torunarigha have got to offer now before the AFCON. Omeruo is the only veteran CB that should lead that defence cause he offers better leadership than Ekong.

Ndidi is revitalized breath of fresh air, real captain mentality from him.

Iwobi is as always solid and reliable, but Fisayo needs to be tested against Mozambique. We need to start prepping up understudy creative outlets for Iwobi just in case...

Simon Moses I'm sorry for ever disrespecting you, this guy gives his all for the SE, brilliant player on his day and very unselfish. A true leader just like Ndidi.

Osimhen always gives his ALL, the other forwards need to step up their game cause Osimhen will get fouled and roughed up alot by physical defenders...he's now injury prone so we can't rely on him to bail us out everytime.

Kelz! Senior man remains our best finisher! the guy is an intriguing enigma, has his lazy moments but when he's on his ace game, Senior man needs only a moment of magic to completely change the game. The question is: what position is best to play him?

Boniface is a fuccking baller, loves how he drops deep to the mid and helps in build up play, I see him as the perfect Osimhen deputy. I want to see more Osimhen/Boniface partnership.

Moffi is decent even though he hasn't been giving a full run in the NT. I place him third place in our striking depth behind Osimhen and Boniface. We need to try out new formations to really bring out the best of our forwards.

Uzoho is a crime against football, the less said about him the better.

Surely the likes of Adeleye, Arthur Okonkwo, Noah Atubolu and Stanley Nwabili have to be the GKs to groom into the NT ASAP!
