You can use your old passport number prior to getting the new one and update it with the school. During my admission processing and CAS, I used my old passport and only updated it when i was about to receive my cas and apply for VISA

I would like to confirm the best approach for 3 dependents (1 adult and 2 children) applying to join MA is to use just 1email address for their applications or use their individual emails?

If its 1 email address for all, must it be the MA or the MA's partner email?

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to any of this approach?

It must not be the main applicants email. It can also be the dependents email address. It will save the main applicant the stress of constantly checking their email and sending feedback when they should be focusing on something else. If you understand what I mean

I personally will prefer if applications are kept separate, it will also help the applicant keep track of everything.

If you do decide to open an email for your children, the ECO knows that as minors the emails will be monitored by the parent

Not needed unless it’s requested when trying to check evidence of your child’s maintenance funds if you used your UK account.

Keep the application simple and straightforward, focus on evidence of relationship (ie birth certificate, school fees paid till date etc)

I doubt if the wife can get a refund. However, there is no harm in trying.

Email address is not a big deal. The family can use one email address, two addresses or three different emails. Not an issue.

You can’t claim refund for IHS paid under 2different visa categories unless it is health care visa.

That is besides the point of not finishing her studies and switching, which can’t be done today anyway.

This might seem right but to the best of my knowledge your student visa is tied to your CAS, your CAS is tied to the admission time you applied, deferring admission after issuance of visa would require a new CAS and invariably a new visa.

Unless your university says in writing that you specifically are allowed to enroll or show up in school by a later date

university permission is needed, it's already in the initial response.
I'm not aware of visa being tied to admission time so I can't comment further on that.

even after deadline I don't think you should withdraw your application. what's the guarantee your next application will beat January enrolment?
if your visa is granted after deadline, I don't think you need another visa application if your school defers your start to January with a new document indicating this. you should have a 90 day entry window.
immediately you receive a success mail, write the school a sensible appeal on how you have been following the modules academically (your student portal should be open) and how your late start will not be a hindrance to catching up with studies. some schools will still ask you to come if you are convincing enough. remember that this mail should be addressed to your program leader specifically. he/she is likely the only one that can put in a word in favour.

If you decide to pay more fees or your accommodation keep an evidence incase it is requested from you

Any other reason is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

Usually after course completion date and a confirmation to say the student has completed their study.Keep that evidence if you have it.

Graduation date is set by the Uni so has nothing to do with your visa condition

It’s not an issue if all your documents are in order. I mean her marriage certificate, newspaper change of name, a consent letter from you and wedding pictures to prove.

If they offer online classes. Start joining and marking attendance. Write them an email, share proof. Be ready to book your ticket the same day you receive your visa decision regardless of the cost. Find out the last day of enrollment from your school too.

Coming from Engineering, I will suggest you go in for accredited Msc. Psychology (conversion), the conversion course is for those who don't have an undergraduate degree in psychology.

Upon finishing the course, the British Psychological Society will grant you graduate membership status which will make you eligible to apply for assistant psychologist jobs in the UK, the NHS regularly have assistant psychologist jobs that has sponsorship attached to them. Even the UK prisons are in dire need of mental health professional to work in the system....you can always still go back to school to study nursing.

There is a Nairalander who I have forgotten his name, he studied philosophy in Nigeria, he came to the UK and did his Msc. Psychology conversion and worked in a mental health facility as a student, I recall him posting about him being his psychology program and applying for Msc mental health nursing back then in 2021, I don't know how it worked out for him.
