I made payment for visitor visa $127, I got a mail that the payment was refused by my card provider. Only to discover at the bank today that the account was debited. What do I do please?

UPDATE/VISA ALERT:
Got no reversal, so decided to initiate the payment again, this time with another card....it went(unfortunately visa fee was increased just within those few hours, so I paid $145)

Application submitted on the 6th Oct
Biometrics 11th
Application transferred to DMC 11th
Application received by DMC 16th
Collection mail 20th Oct

Collected my passport today and visa is granted

1. Letter of introduction from employer
2. Employment letter
3. 5 months Payslips
4. Work ID card, National ID
4. Bank statements showing salary inflow, and personal savings
5. My Cover letter stating reason for trip, itinerary, accommodation, etc

8. marriage certificate
9. Birth certificates of myself and invitee
10. Marriage Pictures and pictures with invitee
11. CAC documents of sponsor business
12. Sponsor evidence of tax payment
13. Sponsor dorm account statement
14. Invitee BRP, vignette page, graduation letter from school, invitation letter.
15. Passport page of sponsor with ID card
16. Hotel reservation
17. Evidence of travel experience(visa)

Fund needed for the trip was paid into my account 2 weeks before Application was submitted.

What If the person was recently transferred to Lagos say 2 months ago and the past 3 years tax was being paid to say Rivers State revenue service or even Kano state ....can't other states TCC be used here in Lagos??

I don't know what you mean. I pay my tax and I got my tax clearance certificate. It's that simple.

I believe so. As long as you've paid your tax consistently.

I would advise you to visit your branch and speak with the account officer there to find out if this will be possible.

I learnt CBN are no longer providing FX to banks and banks have to source for FX for their customers.

Because processing TCC will cost you money so in the end it doesn’t look like you wasted your money by paying tax.

Just my cheap 2 cent.
