Please for business owners trying to apply for visit visa, as compared to salary earners it is quite tricky/difficult to show or proof our monthly income/profits from bank statements since bank statements will show both Capital and profits all together. Like for me, I always turnover my profit when I sell an item with the capital to buy another item. Let me give an example of how my business works:

I buy an item from the US for like 400k, when it arrives Nigeria I sell for at least 480k and in a month I sell up to 11 to 15 items of such. But my bank statement for each month is showing both capital and profit. So how do we prove or show them how much we make?

How would you advise we go about this?
I use my personal account to run my business as i don't have a business account, hope it's not a bad thing when applying?

It is better to open a business account (corporate) use it to run your business and pay yourself salaries monthly to your personal account. I think this is a better option, someone might have something else to add.

That's the issue. I usually turnover my monthly income/profits with my capital to get more deals because it grows my capital and helps me make more money the following month.

Hello my people, I just applied for a UK tourist visa and I'm yet to upload doc on the TLS platform. The biometric appointment date is November 1st. I want to know after uploading the docs to TLS, do I have to also carry photocopies of the docs with me while going for biometric?
What are the things I should be taking along to UK VI TLS office?

I need a response please🙏

As long as you uploaded the documents on TLS, you do no need to take them with you for biometrics

But make the money enter your personal account first. It will show as inflow and even with the origin being from ur business.

you can try your luck.. only those who have sheer luck should do this. Do you have any travel history or other strong ties that might help tilt the decision in your favour?

I don't have a travel history yet, I want to go visit my elder sister in the UK.
Apart from my physical store in Lagos, no other strong ties oo.

Good morning house.
I’ve had a few people try to reach out to me via mail asking for documents I submitted, sorry I should have dropped that here.
I submitted-
1. Introduction letter from my employer
2 6 months bank statement and pay slips
3. Personal statement explaining purpose of visit, budget and sponsorship details.
4. I got an invite letter from my friend who stays in the UK.
5. Sponsorship letter from my sponsors bank (my sponsor is different from the person who gave me invite)
6. Sponsors 6 months statement of account
These are all the documents I submitted.
Thank you 🙏🏽

I just picked up my passport, my visa was approved.
Thank you guys so much for all the info I got here. It was my first time and I didn’t use an agent, got most of the info I needed here. Did my bio last week Wednesday and it was approved yesterday.
I appreciate @giselle, @cashmadam and every other person for their input. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Having a physical store would work for you and not against you… when you are ready ask questions where u re confused. I’d suggest you identify your ties and how you can maximize them in the eyes of the ECO so that he/she sees you returning to Nigeria more than staying back to claim asylum and live with your sister.

Once you are able to identify your ties, half of the job is done. The next half is how to effectively milk it in words and documentary proof to help your situation.

Hello everyone, I received an email today from DHL, it says my passport has been picked up from tls and ready for delivery. I hope this means good news. Also worried cause I didn’t get any email from tls that my passport is ready for collection.
I applied for standard visit visa, 2 yrs validity on the 17th of Oct. didn’t pay for priority so I’m wondering why dhl sent the delivery email

Hello everyone.

Kindly advice. Abeg, don't air me, please.

So, I'm expecting my COS any moment via the skilled worker route.

I stay in Enugu with my family. We intend going to Abuja for both Tb test at IOM and biometrics, hoping we get appointment days apart (cost of transportation is high, hence travelling with family twice is not a good option).

My challenge is this: Given that we would upload our documents when applying for visa (without the TB certificate) and hoping we have the certificates at our biometrics, can we request assisted service at the centre just to upload them? If so, how much is it in recent times? Abi we should wait till UKVI sends a mail, then send to them? What if they now deny us? (Haaa...God abeg)

If not, how best do I approach this? I have two toddlers and this to and fro travel would be quite hectic to make twice.

Ejor, help my life...

Thank you in anticipation 🙏

You don't need a 2-way ticket if you don't plan to return soon and that won't be a requirement for your entry.

yes u can pay for assisted service with your debit card only at the TLS centre. When you are inside. Say no to touts outside. It used to be 12k per person. I don’t know the price for the current exchange rate.
You can also SELF upload any documents right until when you enter for your biometrics. The portal stays open until you give your biometrics. It’s however safer to upload all you want latest the morning of your biometrics date incase of internet issues and all. If this is not a problem, the site stays open for SELF UPLOAD until you submit biometrics.
Do not wait for NSF. Upload your tb certificates at the right time.
