Remember, I said if timed correctly it's very possible......

I don't expect you to care, my emphasis was talking from a point of personal experience, not hearsay, that you are relying upon.......

You got the visa because you presented bank statement showing that you have all your school fees and maintenance money.

So where is that money?
Good question

Biko how can I access a loan to pay COS and work as a care giver in the UK, I learnt I stand the chance of recouping the amount spent in at least 8months. Elders in the platform, please your candid opinion will go a long way.

Don't get deceived with this 8 months repayment target...... Loads of Nigerian's are already caught in this trap, because their sponsors does not have the jobs to offer......

Your sponsor would simply do dorime with your COS fund, whilst you languish in extreme hardship.......

If seeking loan from the UK, the chances of getting this loan is 0%...... Your only option would be to look inwards, within your immediate circles........

Riding on what Justwise said earlier, we all understand that it might not be possible to pay your fees in full before commencement of studies but having the full equivalent in Naira as stated to the UKVI during your visa application should cover the balance on resumption. As a student, you should also make allowance for currency rate fluctuations meaning you shouldn't bank on having the exact full fees equivalent in Naira but rather make some adjustments to cover the difference when there's rate change. Most students complaining about fees today do not have the exact fees equivalent in Naira to start with and that's the problem.

you know what.. giving honest opinion based on abroad is not welcome by Nigerians.

this is why most students when i talk about returning they said they rather die here sleeping in library.

we where 19 people September in Lagos airport coming to London on student route and we shared contact... they are on same boat...no show... non paid their complete fees.. i would have come back but hearing their complain about shame of what Nigerians not hearing their storey.

check the students page ane see people saying they have paid deposit. why didn't they pay full?

Look at the closest city to you and see if any job there. You need to leave your comfort zone sometimes to work in the UK.

i have gone to the craigslist and downloaded their app but no job on care, warehouses and even cleaner in my city not know if i didn't search well

My Uncle gave me an advice
If you're trying to relocate to an advanced country, try to prepare to fit into their system while you're in Nigeria

Since you're in UK already and can't get a job, see if you can create a job for yourself from scratch. It's the bitter truth.
Try content creation eg YouTube because you have an advantage.

What advantage do people over there have compare to us down here on YouTube?

Not just YouTube, even blogging and others
UK is a tier 1 country so has a higher paying audience. They get the best perks too

But you can target them from Nigeria. I may be wrong though.

If it were that easy, many would have gone there. Check the Nairaland thread for further info. The visa process is lengthy and onerous. The saving grace is that people can know when they will be interviewed for visa issuance compared to Germany.

Is their block account application the same with Germany?

Yes you can but it's easier getting lagosians if you're in Lagos 😊

As a proof of funds. Austria doesn't require a blocked account like Germany, a naira account in your name with an adequate balance is acceptable to the Austrian authourities.

my dream was that immediately I came over, i and my dependant will search for jobs.. work and pay bill. but that is not feasible as I am seeing it.

i started this process with 15 million naira then when naira nose dive i had to borrowed extra 15 million to top it with interest of almost 2 million naira. landed in uk, started seeing the reality on ground

i have been in UK since 1 month plus. but getting a job as a migrant or new commer without UK experience is not easy.
in fact i have sent over 200 job application for cleaner, care assistant etc but all came with a sorry we have moved on to the next stage or you don't have uk experience.

school fees has to be paid. everyone here in tight corner... school has sent mail threatening to report to the immigration if school fees is not paid in the next few weeks to most Nigerians here.

no job, house rent is expensive.. going for 450 to 600 pounds per month.

travelling through student route is not really easy because you have to balance between work and school.. 'even at that where is the job as a new migrant.

Please if you are considering coming to UK for now.. please put on hold. the crowd from Indians, Pakistani, Malaysia, china etc is overwhelming.

it's not worth selling your home to be here.

i sleep in indeed and all this job site.. still yet nothing, bills mounting up.

all my colleague i came with are still with no jobs in other cities

after spending 13 million coming here with extra 3k dollars now almost exhausted chai

if u know you don't have full school fees, house rent for 12 months, upkeep.... running to 35m to 40m please stay back... stay back or apply through skill route.

edited with more info.
