Buying up dollars will make it scarce, increase demand and drive up the price of forex. Buying up petrol at its selling price will not do that.

This may be too hard for you to understand but it is what it is.

You have clearly shown that you are an indelible part of the problem. So do everyone a favor and get out of the way when others are trying to solve the problems.

As they say talk is cheap. I can only imagine what you would do if you were in HOA today. Nigeria is a jungle, past administrations fked it up, so I have to get mine.

Tinubu is favoring the dip. Buy it and curse him as you do tongue
Every one is trying to solve the problem?

Coming from a cornvict. What an irony

I can see how your Oga helped solve the problem when it was in the 500 region.

You need to remember that I live in lagos. In the rest of Nigeria, particularly the east petrol is a speculative commodity. Maybe that is what is driving your bizarre argument. Not so in lagos. All the places I bought fuel from never sold above pump price.not even in the worst of the scarcity. We literally had dss raiding stations in lagos to enforce prices.

Nice try at false equivalence.

If I was selling petrol and I immediately stopped selling on may 29 then your argument would make sense. Ironically no NNPC station in lagos stopped selling. Even after the announcement. I guess not every one has the jungle mentality all of you are claiming tongue
NNPC = Official rate.

The effects of your petroleum hoarding affected independent marketers. I live in Lagos, and I know how much I bought fuel after you posted your gallons on this thread.

Please what's the safest way to purchase USDT on Binance...made some purchases there in the past safely, but been a while, and can't be sure if Nigerian's found some way to run scam there too.

Seankafor, Ibime.

That means you are simply not smart I am afraid. Why would you buy fuel from independent marketers? I am sure you are also buying lpg at 13k from independents instead of at 11k from major marketers

Do not blame me for your financial illiteracy.

Now that's the sanctimonious hypocrisy I have come to expect. Calling Tinubu a criminal on one hand and saying I myself have no choice but to be dubious on the other. Real obidient hypocrite energy. Not that anyone is fooled by the long self righteous posts.

How is buying a commodity at the rate the market is selling being dubious?
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Amoto94(m): 5:12pm On Nov 03, 2023
Let's not make the topic about Obidients and DisObidients because from the look of things speculators and manipulators cuts across the political divide making it about Obidients will deflect from the main issue at hand which is the crookedness of many

are any of you scrambling to buy dollars buying it to use in transactions - or to keep which would reduce dollars in circulation and drive up teh price for everyone else?

Hoarding leads to fuel queues in major marketers, and for those not patient enough to wait for the endless NNPC/Total queues, they'd have no choice but to go with the Independents, and this situation could have been avoided if a certain Gloriousgbola bought his fair share and didn't hoard.

Those that are not buying to use for transactions are buying to resell IF the price of USD rises...if it remains same or falls, they make nothing. Any policy that depends on people being perfectly behaved is a bad policy.

i agree - it is however the obidients who have been forming patriotic sincere nigerian who are suddenly showing colour. when others talk about survival etal , they literally hold their noses in the air. we are much better than that we want a better nigeria. now we are being told nigeria ia a jungle and everyone has to hustle

Tinubu should dare announce a reduction in PMS or gas pump price and we'd see 50 litre industrial gallons and cylinders all over the thread...and we all know who's the reigning Gallon d'or winner.

No mind the guy. That day he called it smartness.

Today he is looking for dirts on the shirts of oppositions who are trying to save themselves from the crash their criminal principals have brought upon us.

Oga you are conflating issues, these are simply business transactions, what FX traders do daily, even normal individuals who may have future FX commitments like paying their wards school fees next year, or just to store wealth, they are simply betting on the raise or fall of the Naira, abi is anyone here getting FX at Dangote rate? not sure how patriotism entered the discussion.

Typical.

At your age, it doesn't take you too long start throwing insults.

You are just a kid trapped in an elderly man's body.

Mumu, you came to preach about patroitism...same idiot that voted and supported criminals.

Who cares about where you are based? And who is stalking you?

Aren't you the same goat that brag with gallons of fuels on this thread? Cheap things becomes something you brag with..and when any one cites it to show your hypocrisy, you talk about stalking. Like say you are important.
