Emaprince: I spoke about Jerry cans because I am an organized person. An organized person responds to issues. Rather than react to them. Right now I have converted my generator to gas and I have cylinders. I have identified where I can get gas at the best price. When I say stuff like this people like you will say it is showing off becuase you lack the basic mental competence to plan any area of your life. That is why you assumed I have japaed in the first place because any kind of organization, planning, anticipating issues and making accommodations for them is simply way beyond your bandwidth. Look how pathetic you are, regurgiting puerile insults from march this year. Fairly used insult merchant. Pathetic excuse for a human being - a brain dead copycat. No wonder planning is alien to you. Your plan for exams must have been find the nearest person to giraffe Respect begets respect. You are stupid but even you can see I will engage civilly with people who engage me civilly. You think I will not put a stupid good for nothing like you in your place? Nonsense. Better get off the thread and buy 20 dollars from the nearest aboki. Bloody copy and paste fairly used insult merchant. 7 Likes |

Olowunl01: Buying dollars to to keep will create scarcity and drive up the price. We have had some people posting the price of naira to dollar for the last 2.months and blaming Tinubu for this. To now take on actions that will drive up the price of the dollar after criticizing this administration for the rise in price of the dollar is the highest level of HYPOCRISY 4 Likes |

GloriousGbola:Nobody said you japaed. Stop wearing stupidity like a suit. You have always bragged about living in Festac on this thread...so who dash monkey banana? If you have to preach to us to not buy dolla to save our money, you should also preach to those japaing to stay back and build the country. If every one travel out, who will build the country? Your childish brain didn't reason that way. Respect begets respect..now search through all our engagement and show me where I insulted you before you went your natural and characteristic route. You just can't help yourself. Your first instinct is always to insult without provocation. 15 Likes 4 Shares |

GloriousGbola: Chief, you cannot be blaming regular Joe for a situation created by our leaders, if APC hadn't screwed up the economy - this situation would not arise. This is not APC vs Obidient issue, this is real life oo, my cousin paid his son school fees buying at higher rate, so you are telling me if he decides to use his naira now to buy this dip and keep to pay for his sons next year school fees he is being unpatrotic? As oppose to him betting that his N20M today which give him USD25k today is surer than N20M which give him USD18k in March2024. Koye mi mo oo.. 14 Likes 4 Shares |

Olowunl01: Chairman, imho, you are talking from the perspective of a person who actually has a use/plan for dollars . the person who started this conversation is clearly thinking along the speculative line. and these are part of the actions that have driven up price of dollar in the first place. people buying for speculation, not because they actually need FX at the moment. and to reiterate - a person cannot be posting the price of dollar everyday, adding smiley, saying tinubu is fking up the economy and then when the same tinubus policys lead to a rise in the naira the same person says oh ok - i am going to buy dollars to keep even though i know this will lead to the situation i was loudly and vehemently criticizing tinubu for an increase in the price of dollars 1 Like |

Itsrm: https://media.premiumtimesng.com/wp-content/files/2023/11/BUA-Response-to-Dangote.pdf unable to upload na wa sha i have actually heard that dangote is a stone cold ruthless businessman behind the teddybear facade. in the mid 2000s there was a killer indomie scare. it got so bad that Indomie gave an offical press conference. later i heard that the whole thing may have been a smear campaign by dangote to kill their market for his own noodles. Indomie ultimately won and they bought over his noodles some years ago there are also some stories i heard about a sugar importer which from the letter may have been BUA. |

liveLongNprospa: I am the same way, I maintain a certain weight with a low and high end, all within 5 pounds around my desired weight. As an ardent student of intermittent fasting, maintaining my desired weight is easier for me. I also make sure I am paying by attention to my body fat % as that is a more important metric. Maintaining a strict workout routine is difficult because of work and other endeavors. I usually do cardio (intense elliptical/ stairclimbers, treadmill runs) at least 3 times a week. Light weight with long reps ( I don’t like feeling heavy or looking heavy from weights), leg days and abs are at least once a week and Sundays are for dedicated fully for stretching. I also joined a boxing gym and the benefits have been immense mentally and physically. |

GloriousGbola: Why not? Long term, the naira will always depreciate. It has been depreciating since inception. So why should a Nigerian, regardless of political affiliation, avoid converting their savings when cheap FX is available? You make hay when the sun shines. And right now it's a hot summer afternoon for the naira. Your argument is illogical and you're conflating issues. The rapid decline of the naira's value is primarily down to the economic policies of the dual APC administrations. It is perfectly fine to criticize the rate of decline. In fact, this is the entire reason for the criticism. So they can drag down the rate and anyone can buy the $ for whatever reason. If you want to hedge. Do that. If you want to buy for japa. Do that. If you want to buy to preserve your wealth through the inevitable devaluation. Do that. And yes, if the rate rapidly crashes from 800 back to 1600, Tinubu and his appointees will be raked over the coals. Part of his mandate is to ensure currency stability. When he fails at that, criticism is justified. It should not matter what Nigerians want to use the dollars for. We earned the naira fair and square. If Tinubu and co are doing their jobs correctly, even if I want to buy $10m, I should be able to do so without any material effect on the rate. I don't know why fellas in your camp are fond of gaslighting Nigerians. We can't criticize. We can't buy dollars. If it were up to you, only those with Ronu cards will be able to buy the dollars now that it is cheap. Then when the rate goes back up, you'll start telling the rest of us to endure the hardship. -Lord 24 Likes 6 Shares |

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/639813-residents-stranded-as-lagos-agency-seals-up-buildings.html Lagos state has failed to keep their own copy of approval records. By now all this should be digitized. Last year there was a fire and hard copies of approvals were lost. Some people beleive it was deliberate to stop a re certification exercise It has now become a problem as If you are unlucky enough to have misplaced your old building approvals LASSPPA will force you to procure a fresh approval. It is a real mess. We had a site that was built in 2013. Due to staff attrition the only team members who can say where the approvals are or who may have had a copy of the approvals are gone. So we had to pony up 5m for a fresh approval. At a point someone is going to pull this stunt on a person with enough agidi and enough resources to fight back |
