I did not do a return label for my BRP card yet I got it 4 days after receiving my provisional driver’s license. So I doubt if it’s about that.

Wking:
My People, I applied for a provisional license, but failed to do a return label for my brp card It has been over three months, and I have not received my Brp card. I am considering applying for a new one, and I've paid £19 for a standard application and I was directed to a new third-party link that is requesting £245 to book an appointment. This seems like a rip-off, and I'm feeling frustrated. Can anyone provide guidance on this process?

everything is also looking like i am applying for a fresh Visa. cry cry cry

Hey Joyglo,
Are you not the same lady that came her to tell us she wants to go on a thrilling getaway with one Italian man that's interested in clearing all her tuition of about £14,500?

Are you now moving on with the fellow? You didn't update us again or is this the update?

Can't recall, but please correct me if I'm totally wrong.

No...

And infact, as soon as the student legally moves on, the dependant visa becomes invalid and will be required to leave the country immediately (or within 3 months).

We are a broken, violated and a messed up people, most of us don’t know until we are here. The average Nigerian needs serious orientation on entry into the advanced societies where it’s a culture of giving back and not hoarding. It’s a thing that needs to be unlearned. I no blame our people too much poverty do us shege back home. Make Una no too vex abeg

Its distressing how its so easy for some you to devalue yourself. The action or inaction of a single person does not reflect on us all.
There is a litany of Asians doing same in Canada and even broadcasting it on their YouTube channels. Would you adress the average Indian or Asian with same expletives? Then Chinese, Japanese e.t.c.

You would never stop being a Nigerian and you would not be granted more respect in the UK than that average Nigerian back home.

Regarding 'culture of giving back' . If you actually believe what you said, then you know nothing about all of human existence including the country you currently reside in. Get yourself some self worth.

The offence he committed, his PL would get endorsed.......... It takes 4 years for an endorsement to reset(old licence)...... Once you receive set points, on a new licence (licence otilo)......😜🤣

So you must redo your test.......

Wow ...I always advise people to include a return envelope label that can easily be tracked and protected to avoid issues such as this. Have you contacted your local post office? On the process for the BRP re-issue, hope you went through the gov.uk website though and yes its like re-applying for a fresh visa. They would need to recapture your biometrics to confirm you genuinely had one issued you before.

I said this last week and some people were saying it's impossible.
Omo na time go tell.
it will shock everybody like electricity.
Indian folks have been able to hack the system.

went to a place today and i was told by the uber driver that about 700 Indian family recently moved to the neighborhood.
why did they choose to move to the area?
Because this said area is known to have lots of grammar school with quality teachers. So, they want their kids to acquire the best education.

And we all know knowledge = power.

Omo na time go tell

Indians as a group have punched quite well in the UK but that has come at a relative detriment to their home nation. Their collective strength in the UK has given them certain leeway

India and China were on similar economic level 40-60 yrs ago. China managed to retain its best talent and grow from within. We see where both are today. The likes of Rishi, Satya e.t.c while individually brilliant bring little or no benefit to the life of the average Indian boy back home.

700? Hehe... I doubt a single neighbourhood close to a grammar school would have 700 houses for rent ir sake

I wonder how far this misogynistic mindset will get you in the UK...

Why should COS be arranged for the sham dependent? Does he not have enough skills to obtain sponsorship on his own merit? He's lucky to not be reported for immigration fraud, and the lady too

I am curious to know why you think it is a sham. I believe people fall in and out of love. Do you know them personally?

Fair enough.

Seemed unlikely to me that the lady who revealed that she had met a wealthy European who wanted to pay off her tuition fees, and she wanted to go away with on a weekend trip with him (within a year or less after arriving the UK) would be in a genuine, subsisting relationship with her spouse or long term partner.

But I suppose stranger things have happened, especially when considered that sham dependent arrangements are vanishingly rare. lipsrsealed

"Fall out of love" especially when external financial influence comes to play lol. There are many good women out there, excellent ladies... But the wicked ones are exceptionally heartless, they can change or sway at a moment's notice!

I wouldn't use the word "wicked" as anything could be responsible. For example, is the spouse financially incapable of taking care of her?, Do they have underlining issues that have been made worse by this new development?, were they in a forced union?, was it a marriage of convinience as suggested by others here? and many more questions. These things happen here a lot. I know an someone who wanted to leave her husband just because a guy told her she's beautiful. Same person had an affair with another guy she got close to at work.
