I donā€™t support the constant invite Aribo hv been getting as well the invite of a Nwakali you last saw play at the last afcon which is close to 2 years now

According to credible reports out of Italy, Jerome Akorā€™s goals in Ligue 1 with Montpellier have already attracted some top clubs including AC Milan.

The Italian site Calciomercato.com has reported that Milan are showing interest in Akor.

According to the information, the Italian giants want to buy off the 23-year-old striker as early as the January transfer window.

Calciomercato.com further stated that the price tag should be 15 Million Euros for a player who cost Montpellier under five Million Euros this past summer.

Beautiful goals.

As for their defense, they aren't serious enough. They better step up. The 10 is an excellent baller. I love his teamplay. His mates should take a cue from him. He stole the limelight with his selflessness. The rest wey wan form lone ranger no even catch attention.

Surely this Alex Oyowah lad can't do any worse than a div 2 benchwarmer like Aribo who has no business in the national team, there should be at least 3 decent midfielders in our local league that are good enough to make the Super Eagles...then add the likes of Alhassan Yusuf, Ifeanyi Matthew, Nwakali, Folorunsho to the established faces like Iwobi and Onyedika/Onyeka and we should have a solid midfield depth. There's no excuse why any sane modern day coach should be inviting only 4 midfielders when we have OPTIONS. Peseiro is really am idiot for wasting our time honestly.

Good

These boys can even thrash Lesotho

Cos some of the Angolan players play for their national team

So why can't we use our own for super Eagan

By the way the first goal scorer is a Ghanaian
And we have two guys that plays for Liberian national team as Rivers United players
Hmmmā€¦..even to give NPFL keepers chance na wahala not to talk of outfield players.

Yes you are on point but they will ask you what was the career progressions of home based players given the opportunities by Keshi in 2013,forgetting that he won the biggest trophy in Africa and reached our normal WC second rounds.

Rohr widened the gap between NPFL players and Super eagles,in fact Rohr never managed home based eagles in his six yearsā€¦.so Peseiro is following the agenda of nothing good in Nigeria league.

Some times I wonder if the NPFL players are playing hockey that they don't give them chance

The truth is for some local Africa team
We need the rugged home base player
Not the ajebota European football

You have zero knowledge.

Where does Ndidi and KC play ā“ without Ndidi the SE has a huge irreplaceable gap currently. But according to you they should all be dropped because they are playing in Division Two.

The EPL is the best league in the world and definitely the most competitive. So how good is the Championship ā“the stepping stone to the championship. It's in record that it's way superior to the Scottish league.

The best Midfielder in the world ,Jude Bellingham where did he come from ā“

The players in bold will not get on to the bench at Southampton and Nwakali will not even get into the Youth team.

Jose Peseiro better include Gift Orban in the list
A totally different type of striker from the rest
This boy will perform at Afcon
Gift Orban: a Gabriel Jesus wannabe grin

Osimhen is known for what mainly : high pressing & aerial balls
Iheanacho is known for his deadly left foot & high football IQ
T. Moffi is technically sound and has pace
Gift Orban can dribble & can create goals from nothing. He can drop deep when thereā€™s no link from the midfield to try to wiggle his way through the opponents defence.

We need to invite different types of strikers with slightly different attributes that will contribute in their own unique way to the team
We shouldnā€™t invite only strikers waiting for supplies from the wing backs or midfielders
Vast array of strikers with different playing types would help us greatly
Especially when our team runs out of ideas

Osimhen wasnā€™t world class at 21 years old
Pls give Gift Orban the opportunity to shine.

These are the 4 strikers I wish they invite to Afcon
Apologies for not including Awoniyi, Sadiq & Boniface
I have reasons why

Whatā€™s been happening to Emmanuel Dennis and speed Ejuke Chidera grin

Boniface & Awoniyi are power forwards
When Awoniyi really decides he wants to play & be the top gun with extraordinary mentality to deliver goals for Nigeria I believe he will consistently. Talent not in question
Sadiq canā€™t be banked on as a top striker to deliver goals for the eagles
Didnā€™t see much impact in his last Afcon appearance or even most of his eagles games post Olympics 2016
Heā€™s not like a frightening threat in my opinion
Iā€™ve seen his goal of the season though

You have a point but even he has some basics to learn. He's a bright prospect anyway. He will catch eyes if he maintains that style, just like Alukwu of Sporting Lagos is catching eyes too. We go dey alright.

Mali are in big trouble now, they're one man down. And they conceded a goal immediately after that. ( They were leading 1-0 initially)

It's currently FRA 1-1 MAL

Mali were slight favourtes coming into this game though.

Modified: End of the road for Mali it seems, as France are now ahead 2-1
77 minutes played

They were leading 1:0 and looked like the team to get another goal until that rough tackle and the red card. Now it is 2:1 for France.

At a point in this game I was already seeing them beating Germany in the final grin
Mali and "Ƥlmost" syndrome na 5 & 6.

France 2:1 Mali FT

For me, Mali were the best team in the tournament.
This was the team that could have given them their first U17 title. The "Almost" syndrome, killed them again today.

Owngoal just dribble with their speculations on who the next coach of the SE would be. So:
1) they have already concluded that JP is going, we just don't know the exact timing.
2) they have reported that an unnamed Nigerian would take over.
3) latest is that Tom Sainfelt current coach of Gambia would be named as coach, immediately JP goes. I do like the guy and I think he's hungry for an opportunity to make a name for himself. He has been in Africa for quite a while too.

Anyways, na sidon look we dey for now. I have honestly lowered my expectations for the the next AFCON with JP in charge. Of course, I would love to be shocked, surprised and "shamed" with an overwhelming SE performance.
