Momma, I bought because of the Merger plans ooo. But it seems it is another Dangote Refinery...

Are u expecting that after you buy, it will be merged the next day?.

The last we know is that the scheme of arrangements would be sent to SEC for approval. Normally, the time it takes sec to finalize is about 60 days. Now we do not know when documents got to SEC or whether it is out of sec. After that, there would be high court ordered shareholders meeting to ratify. Then we look forward to it being delisted, then the birth of the new company.
So it's possible that the time is near

The volatility of Neimeth has high volatility followed with long stagnancy. In August it reach 2.2 and pull back to 1.6, Last week goes up to 2.45 and pull back to 1.6ish within the week. I have started my exit this morning. Fidson and MB are better with good fundamentals and prospects.

The objective of the person mopping up Neimeth has been achieved so most likely there's going to be a strong pull back. He's gotten his 5% stake.

One of the things that tires me for here is lack of patience for some of these stock picks or good stocks!

@streetinvestor was somehow right that some investors and newbies are viewing NGX like some kind of MMM website or something.

There's no law that says prices should keep going up once you pick a stock. You may buy and it will start falling. Has that changed the fundamentals or positive news surrounding it?? No.

If you're not comfortable holding Dangsugar and Salt further, then sell.
If you want to hold it for medium to long term, it's left solely to you, as the CEO of your portfolio concerns.......and you be oldbie for this biz oo. No allow village people to succeed o. smiley

Sha try and keep eye on Transcorp or pick tashere units to add to the over 30 stocks in your portfolio. grin

Please Aunty Mercy, which online broker do u recommend as an alternative to morgan in terms of fees. I need to open another one. My 100% reliability on morgan is making me feel blind at this time of their downtime.

Morgan isn't serious with their business. Their tech team cannot renew SSL certificate and fix up in two days? Speaks a lot about their team.

@Mcy,
... remember I made this observation not too long ago when I noticed the trend.
"How do you justify Neimeth doing over 30% within a week with ... if not TA.
Reason I can't thank BullBearMkt enough to opening my eyes to what was missing component in my trade setup".

Personally, I was not even able to get into the Neimeth train before it left the station but any other train departing, believe me, I will get in first and ask questions later.

*** I even asked here if there was any business relationship between Neimeth & Mecure.

Transcorp? Another stock again? Please, no mention ooo. I am an Investor, and not an AGM attender. Reminds me of a man I met at one AGM I attended at CIVIC Center. He say he has ranging from 1 to 10 units of shares in all the companies listed on NGX that do their AGMs in Lagos State, and that he does not care weda the stock price is going up or coming down. All he needs is the access to freely attend AGMs. I dobale take greet am.

Ok. Thanks I've seen the news but couldn't open it.
Maybe a new investor or the new director is the one that bought....
Seems this new Director will make positive impact in the company
Neimeth is in good sector and any turn around can happen at anytime

Make we pardon Morgan....
There's no site that doesn't have glitches at one point or the other.........though I don't know what this certificate expiration is all about, that they can't put in reminder once the date is drawing closer.

You can try Atlas's Portfolios Ltd.........but the fee is not as low as Morgan's ooo, you go think twice before you JIJO...... grin ......but not that high as other houses too.

United Capital also have iTrade live trading........but fees is not as low as that of Morgan's.

Some people maybe would have bought Tantalizer, FTN, ... yesterday & today or even ... self though it's a big disservice to some of us. I might not be able to get the units in a stock at the price it was earlier this morning and might never get it at that price again 'cos of funds tied down.

On GLAXOSMITHKLINE Nigeria:

A brief...
As I stated before now; twice I put up a very important post on GSK here, twice I got banned and the post also taken down.

I've just been informed that many of the concerns I raised then including the near 1 probability of an upward price review in view of the coys exit part have been highlighted and could be addressed at the court ordered meeting today.
(I did some extrapolations and estimates using certain key lines in their financial print)

As I also stated then; most of the company's product (ref: over 90%) have skyrocketed in price, many witnessing as high as btw 370--500% jump.
For instance, one of their prescription antibiotic, AUGMENTIN (used for the treatment of a wide range of bacteria causing infections) has risen from N4,500 prior to the announcement of their exit plan to over N23,000 at the moment. (N25,000 and and above in some places)
...so also are most of their fast selling product (i.e Ventolin, Advair etc) and even their H&PC products (i.e Sensodyn)
Granted, many healthcare products (like every other commodity) has gone up in price due largely to the surrounding macroeconomic dynamics but that of GSK have been up even more.

Many of these upward adjustment in price occurred in H2, 2023 (in the last 6 months) and should reflect in their books as wider RM, GPM, NOI...
Again the recent surge in demand for these products (occasioned by the resultant disequilibrium in the demand-supply chain) must have brought about an improvement in CCC, CGPR, CROIC/ROCE, JPBG and ROAE/EM... a positive for shareholders in that timeframe.

Interestingly, the coy had what I consider a good inventory "level" with a QoQ improvement in InVT in the period leading up to the announcement.

GSK can not "eat" all that money alone. wink cool
The BoDs will need to add something worthy to that N17.42
The shareholders should insist on getting more!

By the way, congratulations to the 1st set of buyers who checked in @ N5+. Sure it was worth the wait!

Those who ordered for the complete investment outline had a brief analysis and guide on this and much more... they know how to better approach the market!
...I gave out so much more in the outline!

CAVEAT: NOT to be inferred as any sought of recommendation. ...the need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
