Although the date is January 1, I’ll advise you just comply to save you the issue of stories. Also, the more the money, the better for your application.

Thanks for your reply.

We are a family of 4. I have paid my first-semester school fees, We have 41 to 43k CAD. We wanted to apply in January but this new law is making us do it this month. If dependent remains the same we are good still.

I have followed through on your thread It seems the agent may have used a fake Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the visa application; it is a Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL). This can result in a five-year ban. My advice for you is to try to get access to your IRCC portal for an update; they must have responded, but since you don't have access to your portal, the agent ghosted you. Alternatively, order your GCMS note.

How to link your IRCC portal

1. Follow the steps to sign into your online account or create a new one.
2. In your account, under “View the applications you submitted," click on “Add (link) your application to your account to check your status”.
3. Enter the information exactly as you did on your original application. If you made updates after you applied, enter the most recent information.

I really appreciate your time and feedback. I have tried severally to link the existing application to the new account that I created, but no application was found which validates the fact the the Acceptance letter was not genuine.

I think it would be a good idea to order for GCMS note as suggested, but I noticed that “Complete file” option would likely be the best since I do not have any idea about the documents he submitted on my behalf.

Thanks

Please, house I need your help, I applied to 3 schools and I'm planning to apply to the 4th one for falls intake but out of the schools I received update from CIMT but I'm not going there bc of the PGWP they don't have and the next school which is Holland sent me an update with student number but no admission yet.

My questions are:

Is there hope that Holland would give me admission since they have sent me student number or I should proceed by applying to 4th school bc I don't want to miss falls intake for 2024.

I dont see people here talking about Holland, does it mean Holland isn't good enough or any issues I need to know please experts help me.

Thank you

@Frankrobbn1 and others

Good questions- For Holland, if it’s DLI accredited school then you should be fine even if nobody is talking about it. If you’re a qualified candidate for admission you’ll definitely get it.
If it doesn’t hurt your pocket or you want to be very sure you’ll get something nice for the Fall semester, in my humble opinion I’ll say apply to the 4th school.. you really never can tell.

I hope this helps

Good morning everyone! Greetings to the experts here. I've already paid approximately 19kCAD for my 1-year PGD program fees, set to commence in Sept 2024, using my savings earned from my job. Due to recent IRCC changes, I'm looking to have my sister, residing in the USA, deposit the required 20k+ into my bank account as proof of funds (POF). Could anyone please advise me on the specific documents I'll need from her to acquire my study visa? Thank you.
Your sister could either send you that lump sum of money as gift deed and attach a letter explaining it or she could use the money to purchase a Gic in your name. Other guru’s can chime in here

I have an unfurnished 1 bedroom in Toronto. It’s 20 minutes away from downtown.

Price is 1200 plus utilities and internet.
This is for female only.

Mr Frank I want to ask the best way to go about getting POF
Can I get it from my bank app and straight to email or am I to apply for printed copies and scan it?
I was told the POF must be stamped physically.

Also, how strongly will you advise ( recommend) someone to use a personal POF different from the sponsor's own?

When it comes to Proof of Funds (POF), it's generally recommended to get a physical copy of the bank statement from your bank. However, if the physical copy appears to be bulky and difficult to compress when uploading it on the IRCC portal, you can definitely use the electronic copy instead. It saves space and is easier to compress. Just make sure that the electronic copy is electronically signed and stamped, so it's still considered valid and official. This way, you can save some hassle and make the application process smoother.

As for using a personal POF different from the sponsor's, it can be a good idea in some cases. It shows that you have your own financial resources to support your studies. However, it's important to make sure that the funds are genuinely yours and that you can provide the necessary documentation to support it.

Good luck with your application 👍.

Hello great minds,
Please help me clarify my situation.

I am getting POF of 35m from a bank plus my sister is dashing me 1 million. I have about 5mill in my account but it's my husband's. My admission is for Spring/Summer 2024

How should go about this application
1. Should I put the money for POF in my husband account to show he's sponsoring me? As am doing Family application
2. Is there need to get my sister's acct docs. & all to show her as sponsor?

Let's clarify your situation for your application. Since you're doing a family application, it's important to consider the best approach for your Proof of Funds (POF).

1. Regarding the POF, if you have 35 million in your own bank account and your sister is giving you an additional 1 million, it may be best to showcase those funds as your own. You can provide the necessary documentation for your own bank account and the gift from your sister.

2. If you decide to use your husband's account, you would need to provide a letter of explanation to clarify that the funds in his account are available to support your studies. However, it's worth noting that using your own funds and your sister's gift may provide a clearer representation of your financial situation. It doesn't matter if the entire funds are saved up in your account for this project, one matters is the availability of the funds.

Good luck with your application! 🍀📄

Hi guys,

I feel so helpless right now. I applied for Study Visa using an agent. I did my biometrics March 17, 2023 and till this very moment I do not know the status of my application. Agent said application is under processing, meanwhile I requested for IRCC login credentials which he refused to give me, so I gave him instructions to login and send me the screenshot of the dashboard and he said there was an upgrade on the portal that he could not login, immediately I called 2 of of my friends to login into their portal to verify his statement. They both provided me with the screenshots of their dashboard. Now agent is saying that he’s going to provide screenshots in 4 days time. Something did not add up and leaves me wondering the type of application he did maybe he applied via mail, obviously not online application.

I have the UCI number, I don’t know if it is possible for me to check the status of my application using the UCI number and if it is possible for me to create a different portal and start afresh?

I understand how frustrating and helpless you must be feeling right now. It's important to have transparency and access to your own application status.

You mentioned that your agent refused to give you the IRCC login credentials and provided excuses about the portal upgrade. It does seem a bit suspicious, especially when your friends were able to provide you with screenshots of their own dashboard.

You have the UCI number, which is great! You can try creating a new account on the IRCC portal and linking your application to the new account. From there you can track the status of your application using your UCI and Application number. Visit the official IRCC website and look for the "GC Key" section. There, you should be able to create an account for yourself and get an update on your application.

If you continue to have concerns or doubts about your agent's actions, it might be worth considering consulting with an immigration expert for further guidance. Hang in there,! 🤞✨
