Akoko is comprised of 52 towns and villages. Which community is your mother from? Your ignorance smells badly. Almost all the communities in Edo were originally from Benin. Call the name of your mother's village so I can't help burst your bubble.

Akoko Edo is not even homogeneous to start with, there are several languages spoken in my local government and absolutely non is Yoruboid. For instance, Igarra the largest and most urban and the headquarters of the local government have their closest relatives in Kogi, Nasarawa and Abuja. They are by extension Egbira by ethnicity. But over 70 percent of the other groups are Edoid. Where in your wildest dream did you got the notion that Akoko Edo is Yoruba?
