I can't get my fingers again burnt in such stocks. I don't see nse as gambling site.i can only recover school fees I paid over 15 yrs ago in some of those stocks when the opportunity present itself. The ones about to pay are ABC, japaul and tantalizer

Sometimes, it is better to wait till 'the end'.
I for one am regretting disposing Daar and Transcorp when I thought my funds were just being tied down for nothing...

I really wonder what's delaying the merger ... See as I tied up my funds there ... missing many opportunities undecided

I believe u will need to fill a share transfer form from your chosen new broker..
Others can add.

As Oga Emma has previously said before..
Also, the kind of stocks you have in ur Portfolio that qualifies you for a loan is different for each broker.

If u got more unacceptable stocks, or less volume of acceptable stocks for desired loan amount, u may not get the required loan..

Look before you Leap Sir.

Did you ever borrowed money as a young man to invest. If you did you would have learnt from your mistakes, gotten the necessary experience, education and exposure.

Not advisable for an old man and a man of God for that matter.

The Lord shall supply all your needs, according to His riches in glory.

Get in touch with your financial advisor.

Because Emeka bought more does not mean Emmanuel should by more

Because Alimat sold does not mean Mary should sell

My oga don't worry, me and Emeka we think alike. Besides I need no financial advisor when I have you. I have Dangote shares and in the process of obtaining a loan to purchase more. Just needed some analytical information on DS versus current price. Thanks.

some people look at stocks alone instead of the services and products the companies offer and also the demand for those services.

Hi,

Has anyone noticed stamp duty charge upon credit to your stockbroking account?

It is normal thing. The money goes into your wallet and not the broker's account, so it's in order to charge stamp duty.
