I suggest you submit your SOWP before traveling. If I were in your situation, I'd apply for my SOWP and travel to Canada with my visitor visa. If there's no response after two months, you could then proceed with your wife and do the flagpoling. This approach demonstrates that you had already applied for your SOWP before leaving Nigeria and ensures that all information is accurately recorded, unlike in your previous VV application.
