I asked you a question..cos I see you are still search for job despite arriving Manchester two months back which affirms what the opp pointing out.

There is job but u are asking for list of agencies one knows off. Which means you have exhausted the ones you know of
We just hate the truth.

My advice is for anyone coming now to hold enough cash.. House rent for 4 months at least, foods for 4 months at least plus extra cash.
Those days of seeing jobs on arrival or just few weeks are over. Now it takes an average of 3 months upwards to land a job.

And finally don't equal yourself with those that have been here for let's say 2 years.. Those can see job faster than new arrivals cos they can show the employer past UK experience which is valuable in job market. An example is in care sector. If you don't have experience now... It takes Miracle to land a job as dormicilliary care assistant

We need to sound this loud so people don't come and be stranded.

Thank you for stating the obvious fact!

I have consistently told people to apply a brief pause on the UK thing because chances of recouping your investment is becoming slimmer and slimmer. Jobs market aren’t what it used to be and schools too are no longer lenient.
If you must come to UK , be sure you can fund your education 100% without working 20hours. This is just the truth.

From the crazy exchange rate to form A being taken off and someone not being able to bring dependant to most importantly the job issue.
I have just few advice to add to those who must come..
Search for cheap school... 10k to 12k max don't exceed
This schools will ask you to pay 50 to 60% then the rest might be spread out. Please remember that schools are becoming non lenient so things might change on how much is to be spread out. So expect anything.

Search for courses which requires no exam to be taken so you have time to work.

Have some funds to do certification courses to land job quickly in places where certification places restrictions.

Don't expect to recoup your expenses... It might be during your post study work permit.

Have extra funds to take your through 4 months assuming no job comes this period (400 pounds rent per month, transportation fee, food etc and in addition first installment of your school fees)

Guys. I need help. I'm looking for a school in the UK who don't require IELTS and tuition isn't too expensive plus the initial deposit is reasonable. This is for masters programme in psychology or social work. Preferably May intake.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by heykims(m): 7:17pm On Jan 16
I hope guys aspiring to come UK are aware of the new immigration rules that will take off in April.
It makes it very difficult to remain in UK even after your 2yrs post graduate visa as one will need a very high paying job to remain the UK which in reality is not achievable except for a lucky few.
The popular route to remain was the care sponsorship but its regulation is now very stringent and now with a care visa, u can't bring in dependants again once the policy is implemented in April, so the route is a no way for a family oriented individual.
So anyone that gets a care sponsorship after April won't have dependents. It's quite bad that for a student presently in the UK with his dependants, if he gets care visa sponsorship after April, the dependants won't be covered and would need to return back to Nigeria.
Please let's reason am well before we japa o.

Good evening house, please i need urgent advice from the expert here.
My wife and i relocated to the UK mid 2023 without our two kids who are less than 6years old. i submitted their application last week with a new birth certificate for both of them because we couldnt find their first birth certificate.

The issue now is that UKVI sent a message recently asking why a kid that was giving birthday to over 4yrs ago is having date of 2024 on birth the certificate which is the date the birth certificate was issued. Also to explain the document i submitted to obtain this new birth certificate.

We actually have less than 10days to respond to this information.

Please house i need advice on this and the supporting documents to explain this.

Thanks everyone. Anticipating response on this.

Leemao. What are you saying?? I asked that question for a student in Manchester City cuz I wasn’t familiar with the agencies there!!! I arrived early October and by God’s grace I have worked at least 3jobs. I am still working two. If you want jobs you’d find jobs. There are jobs. I didn’t use upto 3weeks before I started working. Keep your opinions to yourself please and stop generalising with the experience(s) you have had with people in your space. If you are new here, simply talk to people who have been here, they’d put you through. Don’t be an island.

First of all, I am not a student. I asked that question for a student in Manchester in October. I’m in greater Manchester (not going to disclose my exact city). Like someone also replied on the comment I posted, except a person is lazy or not ready to work, there are menial, blue collar and white collar jobs. The only thing I can say is if a student is coming here with the idea of paying off their fees with 20 hours work, such person should dead the idea right away. It can’t work.

I do not know why people generalized job challenge in the UK. I entered last yeah September and got IT job in less then 2weeks!. It's my first interview in England and I received success message before I even got back home on the interview date.

This has never happened in all interviews I have attended back in Naija!

You can do Business related courses in Ulster university of London/Birmingham campus.
Am sure you don't need IELTS as far you pass your English in University.
Most universities for Psychology or Social work will be September session.
All the best
