I am always surprised as to how most of you comment on NL. I have a business although a small business I wouldn't do what my boss is currently doing to the staff. You don't wear the shoe, so you don't know where it pinches.

For me I left my paid employment in October this year because my supervisor and manager required me to work beyond 5pm. They both set me up with a horrible task and I simply walked away.

Now I trade coins on Stormgain and also do digital marketing. I have no single regret leaving the toxic environment I worked.

I am also free from endless transportation price hike and traffic. I sleep and wake up anytime I choose, I visit any event that interests me anytime I want to.

All I need to make money is my phone and the Internet.

No one should stay in employment anywhere VI, if you earn less that 200k except your house is close to your office (VI and Lekki) and you have the hope of salary increase.

I can't imagine myself working for any company physically it must be remote. ever since I graduated I haven't worked physically for anyone before, I always do freelance, I am not the fan of 9 to 5 job sector. I am also happy to say I have removed a couple of persons from physical to freelancers. I rather write a book to make money than to work for anyone physically from 9 to 5 plus enough sexual, psychological, and mental stress. This is the time to re-evaluate your job!!!

Web development can't get you a job today because anyone can develop a website without coding anything, it's that simple. You must diversify if you need a job.

Tutors (in English for Asian countries, Science subjects for foreign students, UK recently opened their doors for teachers this year, and will continue next year, there's an app homeworkman that can help you with any questions especially even if you are not a science students to teach remotely)

Call center agent ( you must have a head set & your environment MUST be quiet)

Remote work is not what anyone can truly help you with...!

You have to position and equip yourself strategically to succeed there... There can be no shortcuts.

Your first step is to get the basics. Go online or check Facebook for classes... Digital Witch on Facebook is a great platform to begin.

Mind you, what they will teach you won't be everything! You will have to do more work on your own... You need to also get a niche for yourself depending on your skills and interests.

It is pertinent to understand that it is not a fast track but a marathon... It might take you up to a year to even break through in freelancing.

The main sites people use for remote jobs include:

Upwork
Freelancer
Flexjobs
LinkedIn
Glass doors
Etc.

Upwork is the safest and most recommended.

However, get a foundational training first.

In addition, get busy and visible on LinkedIn... I can't say this enough.
