I remember putting out this post October last year.
Why are we arguing over what we have no control over?
Trading/investment is all about taking advantage of opportunities no emotions attached.

Would we say because the leadership of the country have not done things right over the years, we will now suffer because we want to be patriotic?

The Odds are always against the citizens but whereby I see an opportunity, I will take advantage of it. Besides this is just another market cycle. Our naira will appreciate when speculation are done. For now unfortunately we observe.

Let’s not also miss the reason for this thread - To position ourselves so we can take advantage of this bullish season. It will be very painful if you miss out on both.

Many are benefiting from the ongoing, let’s find a place to plug in and take advantage of the season positively.
Wise men don’t get drown in situations, they ride the tides of times. Get skating boards, let’s ride.

The shock will only affect those who are less informed about the future. Cryptocurrency isn’t just about money, it’s about disruption. The Central Banks will become obsolete. Many ties will become rags
grin grin grin

In fact, what I am scared about is the collapse of the banking system, which will happen soon worldwide. Not for myself because now, we have inside information on what may happen. But those rich guys who will lose their stuff in a blink, and that's all...then comes the NWO, etc...tokenization.

The redistribution of wealth is taking place. That’s why we here must be well informed as many will be deformed by what’s coming. The ongoing isn’t just Nigeria problem, it’s universal breakdown. Those in cryptocurrency will have an upper hand, hence, the reason you see the likes of Michael saylor, Robert Kiyosaki, Elon, Jack Dorsey had to leave Twitter to get buried in Bitcoin-the technology. The disruption is unto the world.
Fiat will lose total value that when you see a lorry load of dollars you’d spit at it.

I’m not saying all dom accounts should be closed. However, a lot of the dom accounts are for speculative savings. I’m not against those who have a genuine need to open a don account for their businesses. Those ones should be encouraged because they earn forex for the country.

See, we have a supply problem and that’s bad enough. We can’t meet the demand for forex by legitimate businesses who want to use forex for productive purposes because we are not earning enough dollars to meet the demands. Now, speculators are complicating an already bad situation by going after the few available dollars and thereby driving the exchange rate crazy.

So, what’s the solution in the short term since we all know we are not going to magically increase dollar supply to the country anytime soon?

I’m looking forward to a daily close above $44k.

If rejected, expect $41.3k being a nearby support.

I will discuss here the conclusions I have drawn from my excessive reading and studying.

In December, real personal expenditure increased by 3.2%, according to the US Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) report. It's common knowledge that 70% of the US economy is driven by consumer spending.

You would have noticed that the stock market has recoded six consecutive record high closes if you have been following along.

The data is being closely examined by Wall Street's elite, and they're seeing that the economy is experiencing a significant upturn rather than being on the verge of a recession. But Jeremy Powell won’t come out to tell us that. Instead, he speaks hawkish. You see there’s been no rate increases, but multiple pauses.

Don’t panic sell/dump your holdings. Now is the time to buy aggressively. Possibly the last stage of accumulation. Less than three months remain till Bitcoin's halving.

Here's the catch: an economy thrives when consumers spend more money. Consumers in the US are spending. The United States could afford to back both the Israeli and Ukrainian wars at the same time, according to the secretary of state, last year. A recession-stricken nation will not be inclined to fund wars.

Have no doubts about this rally. Buy the dip when necessary.

Friends, it's bull season.
Prepare your skateboard and let's surf this wave together.

It’s so easy to call people abusive names simply because we can’t reason with them. If all of us continue to change every single Naira we earn to dollar only to save them in dom accounts instead of using same for productive purposes that can earn more forex for the country, how then do you think we can bring down the exchange rate and strengthen the Naira?

The dollars we keep buying and saving in dom accounts, where do you think it is coming from? You guys really think the CBN governor has a magic wand to create dollars to satisfy everyone’s need?

Dollar is now over N1400 and Nigerians are still mopping up all available dollar supply in the market. That goes to show that people are making money from the local economy as making money in Naira is not the problem. Now, how do you guys think we can sustain the purchasing power of the local currency if all of use keep converting Naira to dollar for majorly speculative reasons? Will keeping money in dom accounts generate more dollars for the next set of guys who also want to buy dollars for same speculative reasons?

Funny one-sided argument. people who earn USD abroad and want to bring the usd back to nigeria do so via dom accounts. If CBN follow this funny argument and do as you said, those usd aren't coming back to nigeria.

Using myself as an example, I anticipated this kinda reasoning immediately BAT took office and tried to use up my dom account by embarking on a project. As I noticed that the government didn't follow up on that up till now, I started contemplating remitting usd directly to my dom account again. If this your funny argument is coming back to their consciousness again, then I shelf the idea of bringing back to dom account. It's that simple.

If I think this way, the big boys and businesses are thinking the same. USD will run from Nigeria patapata.

I don't fully agree with you. Yes, the US economy is thriving, but the last CPI data showed an increase, rather than a gradually sustained decrease the fed wish for. So, while the fed won't definitely announce today that they may increase interest rate further, they will closely monitor the data for that possibility in the future, and you know what that could mean if another set of hike is coming in the horizon.

The current crypto bull run won't be like that of a 2020-2021 that was fueled by low-interest-rate money and especially the free covid-19 money, where everything was just flying up doing 100x and even 1000x. This bull run, though will last longer, will be gradual and very tortuous....it will be that of a maturing market.

Let's keep our expectations low and hope for the best.

Even though I’m making from it, I still feel terrible for my country

Good day sir.

Please, I'd like to ask you some questions on this sir.

Hope it wouldn't be any bother sir.

Again with P2P. Who tell you say P2p did something to Naira? Did you not see the party we had where that widow turn 50? Musicians who went there were paid 400,000 USD each. Rooms were rented for 800 USD each . flight were chartered... Nigerians who were invited paid tickets to go there.

Look at Dino Malayes' party in Dubai. Look at that party....and these are the ones we know of.

Do you think that the USD that is being spent just appeared in these peoples pockets undecided It is something that leaves Nigerian in order to fetch them that money.

We need to stop blaming external factors and other people. We need to blame ourselves.
Everything that is happening to Naira is from Nigeria.

P2p and crypto is the only thing that save us from these politicians.

A young man asked me for iphone 13 last year, I gave him the money in USDT to buy it for himself, he look the money, him nor fit just pack am go give person for one phone so he converted it to P2P play. All the craziness happening in Nigeria is not affecting his money as we speak. He even used it to import some goods from UK, sell and convert it back to p2p by changing money for people.

If not P2p, too much death could have been in Nigeria at this time.

.. We are going to 3k/USD and once we are there, it will be 5k next.

Sir, please could you give me one or two tips on how to do this P2P please??

Looking at becoming a Vendor and need someone that can show me a thing or two.

I've started trading SOL and Litecoin for Deriv traders though.

Thanks so very much sir

Most developed countries will automatically change the currency u remitted into their local currency. U dont store dollar in ur account, but cos we hv corrupt leaders keeping dollars in various banks, they are finding it difficult to initiate this rule hence we will be in this mess for a long time to come . Everyone knows the solution but no one want to carry it out cos of selfish reasons
You will hv no choice than to pass through the normal route of remittances or keep ur money in foreign land till whenever. Ur answer is as good as mine grin
