If I bought XYZ at #2 last year and it is currently #15 with a potential dividend 'earning' of 12k p.s.. However, it has dropped to #11.5 today Do you think I should wait for the 'earning' or cash out? Not everyone is an 'investor'. A large majority are 'traders'... Toluway: 1 Like |

I made some money in 2 different sectors and invested the profits in some businesses. I am right now in the brewery sector and very much bullish no matter the level of pull back in the market now.I am happy I invested my money in stocks with small free floats. Either I make profit or they buy me out. 1 Like |

I dey laugh any body that thinks the new CBN circular will stop banks from making profits or even FX gains. Is this the first time CBN is trying to stop/limit FX gains in banks? Wait make UBA release their yr end result... I don add to my UBA....after race we go count mile. If you took some profit from the market during the bull, Kudos!!! Me I dey wait for atleast N2.00 from UBA and dividends from other stocks 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Locotrader(m): 2:54pm On Jan 31 |
PETERiCHY: Unless there is unknown, the market is very much healthy.Take a look at results released so far. Anyone who panic sell his healthy stocks will still pay brokerage fees to get the stock back. We can only take advantage of the pullback and average down in some of these good stocks 3 Likes |

currentprice:The problem with the picture you painted is that you can't say for sure how low or high the price can go and when to dive back in. For the example you gave, all it takes to recover and even exceed the 8 million price pull back is just few days of upward price movement, while you that sold thinking you are smart will be left in the cold. Anyway, na you be the expert, while me na learner 2 Likes |

Laso09:Transcorp stock remains a BUY as long-term is bullish. With the market breadth bearish, the stock price may dip further down. Next is to: -focus on weekly value zone (IF market breadth remains bearish) and buy more to add to my portfolio -However, whenever market breadth changes to bullish and stock price below the daily value zone, I add more again. Thank you. 2 Likes

It looks more like institutions dumping their stocks, probably trying to reduce exposure or something similar. If it were retailers dumping, it wouldn't look like this. The rate at which they are withdrawing their money will surely result in losses for them. Stocks like Zenith took a slow ascent to go up in price. The way they are crashing now, if it continues, will quickly take them back to pre-bull run prices. This is not clever in my opinion. I can remember how GTCO was distributed in 2022 - the entity selling then was dumping it slowly over time. 1 Like |
