This kind of aggressive mopping in Oando. Are some people trying to join the league of petitioners? lol Or is it just the news of PH refinery? |

When we say no bear nobi joke.It is only pull back for traders.Thr can only be bear or beer when this government is confirmed to have failed like pmb government. Thr economic policies are still work in progress. And can only be properly judged from next yr.And I believe thr are signs they may get it right maybe not excellent. Dollar will not be that lucrative as per speculation rather it will remain stable at what price is what I don't know. On another note I will join this traders next Month on my jijo portfolio to be collecting #2 and #3 in some of this shares when they create the atmosphere for pull back.We are all here to make money. No bear is happening because reality on the street, you will realise if you sell and move out the cash it cannot do anything for you.How much is land in good area in my state capital owerri now.A bag of cement don reach #8k. How much are cars from 2015 up now. This will tell you prices on nse has not caught up with prices on the street 10 Likes |

Streetinvestor2:A bag of cement 4 months ago was 5k but today it is close to 8k. But some of our ogas are still waiting to pick Dangote cement at 2018 price of 160 and zenith bank at 16. I won't be surprised if some of the prices we see currently will eventually turn out to be the bottom for the year. Since it's nearly impossible to time the market, me I dey follow people wey know road, like Otedollar who decided to load up Dangote cement in January, which is traditionally NOT a buying season. 4 Likes |

Watin happen for the cement no go happen this time again. Alhaji initial short target #100 medium #150 and long #200 up 2 Likes |

iHaveMadeiT2: If FG target is to stabilize naira/usd at 1,200 official price then expect prices of stocks to rally more. 150k to 200k inevitable by yr end |

sky2891: Oando looks more like slow mopping as the price creeps up slowly. The days of below N10 looks gone and I am seeing a support around N12 just by looking at trading without any graphs Those who use TA may see several pictures and stories. Sustained aggressive mop up or price levels change will be triggered by positive annual or quarterly reports and also on confirmation buy out will not happen. 2 Likes 2 Shares |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 12:46pm On Feb 09 |
Locotrader: I am having a feeling price may oscillate more between 1,400 and 1,500 as there seem to be excess naira from the years of unproductive over printing. But 1,200 can happen if oil production goes up and is well receipted by CBN instead of being held back in an opaque manner by NNPC, along with improvement in farming, production activities and increased revenues from Solid Minerals exports. Looks like the year will stay positive for the stockmarket in all of this. 3 Likes |

sky2891: Oando is a huge puzzle. Anyone wishing to cash in really big must be bold and willing to wait for the long haul. The fact that some new group of shareholders are challenging the earlier plan to delist in court is indicative and suggests that either the delisting fails totally or the offer price of N7.07 is increased significantly increased to compensate shareholders. What matters at the end is for investors to make gain on their investments, whether delisting or not An upstream oil company selling at <N15.00 is potentially a ''steal'' for bargain hunters. 2 Likes |

The money circulating out of the banking sector (~North of #2T) needs to find one way to bank either through stocks or another avenue. People are hoarding too much which in its way is causing a strain on the Naira. |

Mpeace: GTL wasn't like this before! Dudes opened two separate shareholder's account for me, for reasons best known to them. I bought all units from same broker but at different times, which technically shouldn't be an issue. They paid dividend for the latest units and, when contacted, said the first units bought weren't mandated For the records, I haven't "mandated" anything in recent times. I just dey laugh at how incompetence is creeping into a hitherto highly rated Registrar like GTL. 2 Likes |

The general market can't be in a bear, not possible to have a 20% decline in the index to about 80,000. But some stocks will be down by 20% and more. And will be down for months. The bear will be stock specific What happened in the market today is expected after about 3 to 4 days of red 2 Likes 1 Share |

BullBearMkt:Thank you. I always respect your wealth of knowledge sir. That was what I was using many words to say. I meant that the index might not react proportionately to the price movements that are provoking the uncertainties on ground. Maybe comparing the banking index to ASI for instance. I guess the choice of reading to respond rather than reading to digest might have caused a misunderstanding by the one who quoted me earlier though. 2 Likes |

Abeg na red or green win the match today..They say we they enter bear without audited results..if na red win today...come and see , 'we said it". The market is about pull back and pull front for now. And after results it may continue till catalyst from the economy will propel us to another great bull. If you get dividend from your investment. Use it to hold body till another strong bull show face. But for bear it is not going to happen. If you fall mugu ,u will sell at loss and regret later. Even normal business or market on the street right now is slow..Naija must survive. I personally still have hope in this country This government is the turning point for a better naija therefore take position and be part of it. 2 Likes |
